44TH NATIONAL CONVENTION

GUIDELINES & RULES

To: Members of NBM of Africa, the National Executive Council & the
Planning Committee of the 44th National Convention are pleased to
submit the Convention Guidelines outlining the procedures governing the
conduct of this historical National Convention:

1. The printed agenda/program presented by the NEXCO shall be the


Official Program of the Convention.

2. A member must register with the Convention Committee and issued


the Convention Badge or Tag which must be carried within the
Convention premises / venue only and presented to the committee
during all events for admittance.

3. Delegates shall present their Convention Badge or Tag to gain access


into the Convention Hall.

4. All Zones’ financial obligations including back-log of debts owed to


the National Body must be paid, and the completion of a Zonal
Directory must be verified prior to certification of any of the delegates.

5. Delegates shall be seated in the section of the Assembly Hall


designated for Delegates and shall be identified by a Convention
Badge or Tag bearing their name and the “DELEGATE” over-print
certification stamp applied by the Convention Committee.

6. There shall be an easily identifiable space between the seating areas


for delegates and the other members in general attendance.

7. Members / Guests (non-delegates / observers) shall be seated in


other specified sections of the Assembly hall.
8. All cell phones, pagers and other communication device shall be
turned off or be on silent while business is in session.

9. Entrance and Exit to the Assembly Hall shall be through the main
door(s) designated by the Securities.

10. No brother shall be admitted to a Convention Business Session


without the Convention Badge or Tag. To obtain a new Badge or Tag
will cost N3,000
