Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week

NARRATIVE REPORT
I. INTRODUCTION

In compliance with the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Board Regulation No. 5, Series of 2007
under Section 77 Art IX of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of
2002, (Name of School) is acquiescence to propel the program as one of the enjoined sectors of society
to advocate and serve as models to young people to live their lives away from the malevolent effects of
drugs.

This DDB Flagship named BARKADAKONTRA DROGA (BKD) is designed as a preventive


education and information program for students to counter the threats and devastating chattels of
abusing drugs. It empowers the individual to be an agent among his peers in advocating healthy and
drug-free lifestyles through involvement in various wholesome activities.

Hence, the school National Drug Education Program (NDEP) and Guidance Office will work
jointly to lead the implantation and then progress it to a “Barkadahan” concept or a collective action
among the students that would brace camaraderie, collaboration, cooperation, solidarity, and
connections in their mutual commitment to attain meaningful life.

Objectives
To reinforce people's empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is drug-free and productive this
activity aims to:
1. Establish a Barkada Kontra Droga movement
2. Train the people in advocating a healthy and productive drug-free lifestyle
3. Create a fully drug-free environment in the school. Home, workplace, and community
4. Encourage productive use of time and alternative activities
5. Provide support services towards the adoption of the Barkada concept among families, educators,
professionals, workforces, peer groups and other sectors

II. ACCOMPLISHMENT

A. PRE-IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

I. Mobilization and Organizing Implementation

B. IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

To create awareness in celebrating the 2022 Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week, a tarpaulin was
strategically placed infront of the _______________________.

Moreover, a bulletin display containing ill effects of drugs was set up in an area accessible to all
_______________________ students of _______________________.

Also,the BKD coordinators conducted the search for best barkada kontra droga corner wherein the
participants are the Junior and Senior High School.

As the highlight of this week’s celebration, a symposium was conducted on Drug Abuse prevention and
control led by the _______________________PNP, PLTCOL. _______________________Deputy Chief of
Police , _______________________,Police Community Development provided significant information on drug
abuse and Pastor _______________________on moral values.

Our principal spoke about the ill effects on drugs and how it can be prevented by the youth/students.

A dialogue was opened to those who wanted to seek further information and clarification.

The Junior and Senior High School teachers of _______________________led by our

department and the three NDEP Coordinators, _______________________, _______________________and
_______________________gave honor and praise to the invaluable messages of our Resource Speakers,

C. POST-IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

The programs/ activities are monitored by chairpersons of the different committees with the supervision of the
School Head. All actions are documented and supported with photos. The ___________________ is also
looking forward to continuing this program next school year.
