Good Day Keith Hernandez,

We are excited to welcome you to the FY23 I&D Mentorship Program. If we have not met, my name is Kane Blasingame, and I am your program manager for the I&D Mentorship
Program.

As we prepare for our training day together, I wanted to share some important next steps for you to take:

The Mentorship Circle

Each circle we create consists of 1 mentor and 2-3 mentees who experience the program together during monthly I&D module discussions & 1:1 mentoring occurs individually with each
Mentee monthly in separate meetings. You will learn more about your mentor and fellow mentees in an immersion session.

Keith Hernandez your mentor is Nica (she/her) Tovey

The Circle for FY23 includes these mentees:

Four Actions to Take

1. Complete a 55-minute training session. Use this link by January 18th to select the session. Recognizing that you are an integral part of supporting activity scheduling in this program,
you are encouraged to attend. Your support is critical to our success.

2. Check for completion of the pre-requisite MyLearning course “The Six C’s of Inclusive Leadership” 20-minute training.
---Go to MyLearning and interact with the ‘My Completed Training’ tile.
---If you have not completed it, use this link to complete before January 23rd.

3. Download and complete this document to support February’s “Getting to Know My Circle” immersion meeting with the above-listed partners in your Circle group. The document has
instructions and an agenda for the meeting. Your mentor or thier scheduling "Support Team" partner will calendar this for the group. The meeting will take place between January 23rd
and February 10th before any I&D discussions or 1:1 mentoring.

4. Prepare to discuss your development goals with your mentor, before Feburary 10th, schedule and complete a 25-minute alignment discussion with your manager using these tools
and agenda.

I will serve as your main point of contact throughout the program. Additional information about I&D mentorship, including FAQs, can be found on our program page. If you have additional
questions or comments about your experience, please do not hesitate to reach out.

In support,

FAQ about Matching and Training:

How was the matching completed?

At Starbucks, we believe finding new ways to foster brave spaces between our leadership team and partners is critical to cultivating our talent and growing our business. With this matching, in no particular
order, we consider a participant's functional team (to ensure Mentors are not in the direct line of leadership of Mentees) and self-identification to craft the best Circles possible. The intent is to ensure that
each Circle encompasses a wide range of cultural, personal, and cross-functional perspectives.

I participated in the program previously; do I still need to complete the training session?
I participated in the program previously; do I still need to complete the training session?
Yes, this is an all-new interactive training that ensures all participants are aligned with resources, role training, and expectations. Last year we used a MyLearning course to guide training, this was removed
so we can provide this personalized experience for partners. The sessions will not be recorded.
