 Location: - ADOR DIGATRON FACTORY – PUNE


 Inspection Done By: - Darshit Vyas
 Charger Rating: 30kW – Single GUN CCS

Observation: -

 During the visit there was two 30kW chargers were tested by ADOR and offered for Inspection where one unit was connected with power supply
and checked thoroughly with CZ Testing procedures – (i) It is recommended that other units to be checked with same CZ procedure and signoff by
ADOR end, before dispatch.
 The 30kW Charger is not having a battery backup where the units stop functioning in power outage- (ii) For PCS operation Battery Backup is must
require which can show to the screen that charging session Is stopped due to power failure & send the commercial data to CMS as well as it
should intimate user in the main screen
 Skin (Livery) is not applied to the charger – (iii) Pl take up the point with purchase & marketing prior to dispatch of the same.
 A terminal arrangement & Stickering to input side is required in the lower cabinet of Charger. – (IV) Instead of connecting the cables to RCB
directly , it is recommended that to give a separate TB which can be given to terminate AL cable up to 25 SQ mm and which has clear indication/
Stickers given for R-Y-B-N-E arrangement.
 In the Main Cabinet DC Cable termination is not good quality and dressing work is very poor in the charger – (V) It is recommended that while
connecting cables in the charger , OEM should be following the principles of allowable bending radius which is written in IS1255 for power cables
and IS 732 for point wiring as quality and placement of the equipment found poor. As well as there is poor dressing work for control. (Pl check
Model: C&S 63A 36kA 3 Pole ACE 2 MCCB, CSCN125TM633P with Shunt, RCCB is used was only 10kA which is not justifiable which is used in a
lighting load.)
 Rectifiers will be pre- installed in the charger prior to dispatch – (Vi) It is requested to OEM for taking care of Safety aspects while packing the
charger and provide installation & Maintenance guide for 30kW Unit.
 Reboot error coming in the remote restart option (OCPP) – (Vii) During the testing period remote restart is not functioning which observed as a
software configuration error , need to be closed by OEM.
 Limit switch is not provided – (Viii) Main cabinet has no facility of limit switch and door open /close configuration with CMS, we can access
charging with an Open door.
 Form of Electrical separation – (IX) DC side Bus has no insulation separation is provided, visible Fiber sheet or Plastic cover with danger sign
should be there.
 Time taken with Sim card connectivity – (X) While operating through SIM card, time taken by the router switch found up to 10 ~ 15 Mins after
power loss, which is something to look at.
 (Xi) Charger dimension and recommended foundation to be given by OEM.
