Recognizing Propaganda Techniques

Propaganda refers to information which is stated
in a biased manner either to promote or harm a
particular cause, person, or point of view.

1. Testimonial a popular and influential personality

is paid to endorse a product, person, or cause.
During elections, celebrities, athletes and other
well-known figures are paid to endorse candidates
running for office.

2. Name-calling is done by negatively labeling a

person or thing. The labels are usually unsupported
and they are made to damage the subject.

3. Bandwagon persuades you to do the same thing that

everyone else is doing. It suggests that if you do
not follow the majority, you will be left out and
you will miss a lot of things.

4. Glittering generalities uses emotionally appealing

words like good, better, best, honest, and fair,
among others to convince us.

Projectile motions - Science

a projectile is an object that has an initial velocity

and is moving along a curved path. this path is known
as a trajctory, which is entirely the effect of
gravitational force.

When you throw your pamato horizontally in air as you

take your turn to play piko, you will notice that it
eventually goes downward following a curved path. This
motion is called projectile motion.

horizontal projectile motion is a type of motion

in which a free falling body is at the same time
moving horizontally at a constant speed.
