REACTION PAPER

The topic of human rights has been a crucial discussion in various fields, especially in the realm
of law and politics. As Atty.discussed the topic about human rights and women empowerment.
Atty. said that Human rights are fundamental entitlements for all individuals, regardless of their
race, gender, national origin or other status. I have realized that human rights violations
continue to occur in many parts of the world despite the efforts made by organizations and
governments to protect them. Realizing the importance of human rights monitoring requires
familiarity with international human rights standards and approaches to gathering credible
information.

Human rights have been a subject of global concern, and their universal recognition and
protection remain an ongoing challenge. While progress has been made in acknowledging and
protecting human rights, there is still much work to be done. Additionally, it is important to
recognize that the protection of human rights is not limited to national borders and must
extend to international migrants as well. Moreover, it is essential to ensure that human rights
legislation is in place and enforced effectively in all fields, including the medical field.

I agree that human rights are the rights that everyone has from the moment they are born until
they die. They are things that everyone is entitled to just by virtue of being human, such as life,
liberty, freedom of expression, and the right to an education. These rights can never be revoked
on the basis of age, gender, nationality, race, or disabilities. Human rights provide us with a
systematic framework based on normative norms that apply to all nations and legal orders. In a
world order dominated by states/governments, the system of human rights serves as a
counterweight, one concerned with and centered on the person. In other words, we need
human rights because they allow us to analyze and challenge national laws and practices
concerning the treatment of individuals.
