Common Name: Ylang ylang


Scientific Name: Cananga odorata
Description: Ylang- ylang in tagalog
means “flower of flowers”. The
branches reaches about 25m or 80
feet. This tree also has rich scented
flowers that have six greenish yellow
petals. It is better to plant this tree
by planting it’s seed than
propagating it. The benefits of the
ylang ylang tree are, it can boost
your mood, lower blood pressure,the
scent can repel flying insects and kill
bug larvae, reduce depression and
alleviate anxiety.

Common Name: Anahaw tree


Scientific Name: Saribus rotundifolius
Description: This tree has large leafs,they
grow up to 15 to 20 meters and 25 cm in
diameter. As this tree matures the leaves
pack at the top of the tree and leaving a
straight trunk. To plant an Anahaw tree you
need an area humid and moist clay loam soils.
Elevation ranges from 200-400 meters above
sea level with existing forest cover or some
agri-crops brushing above 1 meter strip.
