1. Beaker-Used to hold and heat liquids. Multipurpose and essential in the lab.

2. Erlenmeyer flasks-Used to heat, mix, and store liquids. The advantage to the Erlenmeyer Flask is that

the bottom is wider than the top so it will heat quicker because of the greater surface area exposed to the

heat.

3. Graduated cylinder-a common piece of laboratory equipment used to measure the volume of a liquid.

4. Distilling flask-to separate mixtures of two liquids with different boiling points.

5. Funnel-Used to pour liquids into any container so they will not be lost or spilled. They are also used

with folded filter paper for filtration.

6. Test tube-Used for storing, mixing, and heating small amounts of chemicals.

7. Stirring rod-Used to stir liquids. They are usually made of glass.

8. Pipette- Used for moving small amounts of liquid from place to place. They are usually made of plastic

and are disposable

9. Florence flask- It is designed for uniform heating, boiling, distillation and ease of swirling.

10. Volumetric flask-Used to measure one specific volume in mixing accurate solutions.

11. Condenser-used to condense vapours in the lab or turn them into liquids simply by cooling them down.

12. Thermometer-Used to take temperature of solids, liquids, and gases.

13. Spatula- Used to transfer small amounts of solid chemicals.

14. Dropper- Used to transfer small amounts of liquid chemicals drop by drop.

15. Watch Glass- Used as a surface to hold small amounts of solids during weighing or to cover beakers to

prevent splattering.

16. Evaporating Dish- Used to evaporate liquids from a solution, leaving behind solid residues.

17. Burette- Used for precise dispensing of liquids in titration experiments.

18. Mortar and Pestle- Used to crush, grind, or mix solid substances.

19. Crucible with Cover- Used to heat small amounts of solid substances at high temperatures.

20. Clay Triangle- Used to support crucibles or other containers during heating over a Bunsen burner.

21. Test Tube Brush- Used to clean the inside of test tubes.
22. Test Tube Holder- Used to hold and handle test tubes, especially when they are hot.

23. Crucible Tongs- Used to handle hot crucibles, evaporating dishes, and other hot containers.

24. Wire Gauze- Placed on an iron ring to provide a platform for heating containers.

25. Test Tube Rack- Used to hold and organize test tubes during experiments and drying.

26. Iron Stand- A support stand used to hold various lab equipment such as clamps, bosses, and rings.

27. Iron Ring Attached to an iron stand and used to hold items like funnels or glassware during heating.

28. Universal Clamp- Used to hold various lab apparatus securely, often attached to an iron stand.

29. Burner- Provides controlled flame for heating substances.

30. Rubber Tubing- Connects equipment for liquid or gas transfer.

31. Triple Beam Balance- Measures the mass of objects accurately.

32. Rubber Stopper- Seals containers to prevent substance escape.

33. Tripod- Supports glassware over a heat source.

34. Set of Weights- Calibrates and measures object mass.

35. Adapter- Joins mismatched glassware pieces.

36. Reagent Bottle- Stores liquids with controlled dispensing.

37. Wash Bottle- Rinses glassware or provides controlled liquid stream.

38. Spot Plate- Holds small-scale samples for reactions or tests.

39. Separatory Funnel- Separates immiscible liquids based on density.

40. Pneumatic Trough- Collects and manipulates gases with water seal.
