Final diagnosis: G1 P0 (0010) AN EMBRYONIC PREGNANCY 8 WEEKS BY UTZ UNDER
WENT DILATION AND CURETTAGE UNDER SEDATION MYOMA

CATEGORY DISCHARGE PLAN


M-Medication ● Cefuroxime 500mg
(Dalawang beses sa isang
araw,tuwing 8:00 nang umaga at 8:00 nang
gabi sa loob ng pitong araw)

-Instruct the patient to swallow the


whole tablet because the crushed
tablet has a strong bitter taste

-If the tablet is forgotten to take, take


the meds as soon as you remember it.
But if it is almost the time to take the
next medicine, skip the missed dose
and continue your regular dosing
schedule.
● Losartan 50 mg
(Isang beses sa isang araw,tuwing 8:00 ng
umaga)

-Used to treat high-blood pressure

-Take with or without food.

-Keep taking this drug as you have


been told by your doctor or other
healthcare provider, even if you feel
well.
● Ferrous Sulfate
(Isang beses sa isang isang araw,sa loob ng
isang buwan,tuwing 8:00 ng umaga
pagkatapos kumain)

-Instruct the patient that it works best when it


is taken on an empty stomach. But if it upset
your stomach ,take it with or after food.

-Instruct the patient to swallow the tablet or


capsule whole with a glass of water. Don’t
suck or chew the tablet, because it can cause
mouth ulcers or stain in your teeth.

● Mefenamic Acid 500mg-for pain PRN

(Isang tableta sa loob ng 8 hours o kapag


nakaramdam ng pananakit at pagkirot.)

-Take this medicine only as directed by your


doctor. Do not take more of it, do not take it
more often, and do not take it for a longer time
than your doctor ordered.

E-Exercise
Seated Kegels:
- Place your feet on the floor and sit on the
edge of a chair
. - Inhale deeply and then exhale fully,
relaxing the contraction.
- Experiment with Kegels in various
positions, such as standing or lying on your
side.
- Perform 8 to 12 times with a 2-minute rest
between contractions. Repeat 2 times per day.

● Instruct the patient to do light


stretching.
● Instruct the patient to not lift any
heavy object.
● Instruct the patient to take a walk inside
a house or compound for 5 to 10mins.
●Advice the patient to have a rest during
those activities.

T-Treatment ● Resume medications as directed


● Follow medication instructions
● Maintain rest by getting enough sleep
● Adequate wound care and dressing
● Encourage the patient in proper hygiene
,proper hand washing ,taking a bath and
change of clothing and dressing daily.

H-Health Teaching
-Instruct the patient in energy saving
activities

-Instruct the patient to eat healthy foods.


-Instruct the family of the patient to
provide emotional support.

POST D&C Care

● Shower instead of taking a bath

● Avoid sexual intercourse


● Use sanitary pads instead of tampons
● If experiencing any signs of symptoms
(fever, pain, or discharge) see your doctor
immediately.
● Do not lift heavy object

Activity
● Increasing physical activities
● Check your blood pressure daily with
a home monitor.
● See your doctor for regular checkups

O-OPD follow -up Call the doctor if any of the following occurs:

● Follow up check in hospital (JCPMH)

● Severely pain in belly and pelvis

● Fever
● Vaginal discharge that smells bad

D-Diet DO'S
● Promote intake of vitamin D

● Encourage the patient to eat high fiber


foods, including cruciferous vegetable like
broccoli

● Eat foods rich in potassium


It helps to counter the effects of salt to
balance blood pressure.
(Avocado, bananas, citrus, lentils, potatoes,
tomatoes)

DON'TS
● Don't eat a diet full of processed
foods, red meats and high -fat dairy.

● Avoid added sugar of all types

● Avoid high sodium foods

S- Sexuality/Spiritually ● At least 2 weeks before having sex


after the procedure.

● Seek help and guidance from God


whenever you feel anxious.

●Advise the significant others to guide and


support the patient by uplifting her spiritual
being.

●Maintain positive outlook in life
