1. Setting the Communication Unit
Turn off the power of the tester and disconnect the power cord from the main unit.
Remove the screws on the top of the tester to remove the cover.
Make necessary settings to the communication unit mounted on the left hand side (when viewed from the
front) inside the tester.
CAUTION
When removing the cover, do not touch unnecessarily
other parts of the tester.
If touched, the tester may not be able to operate at its
full performance.
Attach the cover of the communication unit, the connector, and the cover of the tester.

Set each size in the initial setting of the PLC.

Setting of the Input Size and Output Size
Set each size in the initial setting of the PLC.

The difference between CSM Module1 and CSM Module2 is the size of input.
CSM-Module1: 4 bytes, CSM-Module2: 40 bytes
Be aware the I/O maps are different.
Tap the “IP Address”or “Subnet Mask” encircled by the yellow line above. The selected screen shown on the
right appears.
Enter the IP address or the subnet mask.
To avoid the communication error, set the Start Delay to delay the detection of communication failure.
Tap the “Start Delay”encircled by the yellow line above. The screen shown on the right appears.
Enter the delay time.
Delay time range: 0 to 99 s
