NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (NSTP)

It is a program designed to increase


youth civic awareness and defense
preparedness by instilling a sense of
service and patriotism while
undergoing training in any of its three
(3) program components.

CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISION ON CIVIL DEFENSE

The prime duty of the Government is to


serve and protect the people.

The Government may call upon the people to defend


the State.
In the fulfillment thereof, all citizens may be required,
under conditions provided by law, to render personal,
military or civil service.
