 LEARJET CUSTOMIZED AVIONICS
AND OPTIONAL ELECTRICAL WIRING MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
This manual has been prepared to provide the necessary avionics and optional electrical wiring diagrams for
the specific aircraft listed on the Title Page. When used in conjunction with the basic aircraft Wiring Manual,
and unless noted otherwise, this manual will provide complete wiring diagrams for the aircraft as delivered new.

This manual does not contain any information on equipment or systems installed after the initial delivery of the
aircraft. If this information is desired or needed, it must be obtained from the installing facility.

The basic descriptions of most avionics and electrical components are contained in the Maintenance Manual.
For specific description, operation and maintenance of these components, refer to the specific component
vendor’s manuals as applicable.

A. Wiring Diagrams
1. The diagrams presented in this manual are, in fact, the diagrams that were used by Learjet to
manufacture the aircraft. Therefore, these diagrams will contain some information that is not relative
to maintaining the aircraft.
2. Refer to the basic aircraft Wiring Manual, chapter 20, for wire grounding locations and maximum
allowable electrical bonding resistances.
3. The Standard Practices in the basic aircraft Wiring Manual, chapter 20, are applicable for use with
this manual and should be adhered to.
4. The following points should be remembered when using the diagrams in this manual:
1. Hashed lines ( / / / / / / ) are wires that no longer exist.
2. Dashed lines (- - - - - - - - -) are existing wires installed by a different print.
3. Solid lines ( ) are existing wires installed by the print being viewed.
4. Disregard the “Revision” block in the upper right-hand corner of the wiring diagram.
5. Disregard any references to “LES Spec” or “Learjet Engineering Specification”.
5. All wiring diagrams included with this manual represent the best copies available from our
publication archives.

B. Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)

1. The ELA has been provided in this Manual, and represents the aircraft configuration at the time of
first delivery. It should be consulted prior to any modification which may affect the electrical load.
Whenever the electrical load is affected by modification, changes to the ELA become the
responsibility of the modifying agency. The ELA may also be used by the flight crew to determine
load shedding priorities for use during abnormal or emergency procedures.

a specific diagram, or from any index page by selecting a diagram number within the drawing
column. When viewing a drawing, you can return to the drawing index page by selecting the top
left-hand corner of the wiring diagram.
