Guidelines for Multiplex

Overview:
● The theme for this week’s Creator Contest is a Luxury Movie Theatre
Complex.
● Create an interactive fully furnished multiplex with movies playing inside the
theaters.

Requirements:
● The luxury multiplex should include the following:
○ 6 screens
■ 2 huge auditoriums with IMAX(really big) screens.
■ 4 normal screen auditoriums.
■ The screens should also have normal seats and recliner seats.
○ Concession Stand - A place where the players can purchase snacks
or food.
○ Box Office near the entrance - A place where you can buy tickets
○ Washrooms
○ Lobby - A general seating area with sofas and coffee tables
● Use Youtube players as the screens so that the player can play their favorite
videos.

● The colors, textures, aesthetics (look and feel), and background music should
match the theme. This will be very important in the scoring of your
submissions.
Judging Criteria:
● Your submission will be judged on the following points:-
○ Innovation
○ Fun & engagement
○ Level design
○ Look & feel: Colors & textures
○ Worldbuilding
○ Variety of interactive elements
○ World sounds
○ How easy is your world & interactions for a 10-year-old kid to
understand?

● As your main goal will be to create an engaging experience make sure to

playtest your maps and check if you have followed the guidelines and if the
experience is unique and interesting for the players.
Playtesting is compulsory and if there is an obvious bug or bad experience in
your submission, it can be marked as invalid.
