Comparative adjectives and adverbs

*Take the following sentences into consideration

1/ Jessica prefers Instagram because it is more interesting, more private and it is better than Facebook

2/ Jane prefers Facebook because it is easier and faster than Instagram.

3/ Jane uses Instagram less frequently than Facebook.

- In sentence 1 there two long adjectives (interesting and private)


- In sentence 3 there is the adverb (frequently)

All of them are in the comparative form : interesting ----- more interesting / private ----- more private

Frequently ------- less frequently

Comparative form: more / less + long adjective/ adverb + than …..

- In sentence 2 there are two short adjectives (easier and faster )

They are in the comparative form : easy ------- easier / fast-------faster

Comparative form : short adjective +er + than

(better) is the comparative form of adjective good

So there are some irregular adjectives
