General information
To improve planning, notification of work completion (installation, grid connection, pre-commissioning,
commissioning, service hoist installation, 300 h maintenance, updates, concrete tower pre-assembly,
completion of concrete tower assembly & precast concrete tower prestressing and grouting) is sent to
Aurich by text message. This notification of completion / feedback has to be sent from all sites worldwide
after completion of each of the listed tasks.
This document replaces the following Technical Information documents:
s-me-02-ger-xxx-08-001 (WEC task completion notification)
i-me-02-ger-xxx-08-005 (WEC task completion notification) and
i-ct-02-ger-xxx-09-003 (WEC task completion notification).
The contents of this document have been updated.

1 Procedure

1.1 Time
Notifications must be sent on the same day the work has been completed.

For installation, do not send a completion notification unless the WEC has been completely
installed with the rotor blades.

1.2 Person in charge

The following person is in charge of sending completion notifications by text message:
 Concrete tower, installation, single-blade installation, grid connection: Team leader
 Service hoist, commissioning, 300 h maintenance: Person who signed the respective report.

1.5 Confirmation and error detection of incoming text messages

From now on, you will receive a confirmation message for any text messages sent to Aurich.

Correct text messages:
If the prefix **1#, the W number and the date have been correctly submitted in the above format, the
sender receives the following confirmation message:
“Nachricht ist eingegangen und wurde an ‘SMS-Datenbank’ weitergeleitet. Your message was
successfully forwarded to ‘SMS-Database’.”
Incorrect text messages:
If an incorrect text message is sent to the database (i.e., a message that cannot be processed by the
system), you will receive a text message indicating the error (prefix, W number or date format). In this
case, correct your text message and send it again.
Depending on the error (prefix, W number or date format), the following text message will be
sent:
“SMS-Fehler. Bitte neue SMS mit Präfix *1# senden. Message failure, please send SMS again
with *1#.”
“SMS-Fehler. Bitte neue SMS mit korrektem W-Nummer-Format. Message failure, please try
again with correct W-Number format.”
