1 General information
The photos/figures in this document serve as illustrations and may differ from the actual compo-
nents.

2 Reason for change


After assessing and testing the Greifzug BSO safety catch on work platforms it was shown that
these are not affected by the hazard for the BSO safety catch in service hoists.
For more detailed information concerning the service hoists, refer to document number: TD-esc-
02-de-xx-15-045 Rev001 Current status of investigations into service hoists.

3 Overview of change
From now on, the BSO safety catches for work platforms are to be inspected and provided with an
inspection label by maintence personnel every 12 months.
The inspection dates on the BSO safety catches for work platforms available at the construction
site or in the service vehicles still have to be respected even if the devices were only approved for
six months.
