    CUSTOMER AT A HIGH-END CAR DEALERSHIP

    Scenario: You are considering a new car. You want performance, but you still need some
    space for passengers. You want the latest and greatest, yet still be comfortable and be able
    to transport people and things easily. You are willing to pay for what you want, but given
    the current economic environment, you are concerned about paying too much.

    1. What type of presentation would you expect to get at the car dealership?

    The salesperson should start with introducing himself and by sharing a pleasant greeting
    with me and my family. He/she should give his complete attention to us. He/she should
    be able to understand my area of interest, my primary requirements, my budget and
    accordingly recommend the best suitable options. He/she should be able to offer me
    more than one model in my budget and avoid using the automobile jargons (use easy to
    understand language). The presentation should not be time consuming and the
    salesperson should be able to show the demo of the features if required. The salesperson
    should be well versed with the features of the car and should be able to clear my doubts
    (if any).

    2. What questions will you have for the salesperson about the car?

    - What are the safety features of the car?


    - Does it come with airbags?
    - How much is the leg space in the car?
    - How much is the boot space in the car?
    - What is the mileage?
    - Is this the latest model available in the market?
    - If not, is there any upgraded model launching soon?
    - What is the maintenance cost after purchase?
    - Where is the service centre located?
    - What is the expected delivery time?

    3. What questions will you have for the salesperson about the financing for the car?

    - What is the purchase on road price of the car?


    - Is there EMI option available? If yes, from which banks?
    - What will be the interest rate?
    - Do you have any other financing options available?
    - Are there any additional charges? If yes, how much?
    - What is the amount for down payment and in how many days do I need to complete
    the payment?
