During the Learning Action Cell session on the use of formative assessment to improve learning, I
was immersed in a rich and enlightening experience that broadened my understanding of the vital
role formative assessment plays in the teaching and learning process. As the session unfolded, I
found myself captivated by the speaker's expertise and the engaging discussions that took place
among the participants.
What truly stood out for me were the practical implementation techniques shared by Torio. Her
insights on designing assessments that align with learning goals, providing constructive feedback,
and using assessment data to drive instruction were invaluable. I realized that formative
assessment is not simply about grading or evaluating students but, more importantly, about
understanding their needs, fostering growth, and ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all.
In conclusion, this Learning Action Cell session on formative assessment was a profound
experience that left an indelible mark on my professional journey. It ignited a passion within me to
embrace formative assessment as a fundamental tool for promoting student growth and improving
learning outcomes. I left the session with a renewed commitment to implementing effective
formative assessment practices, knowing that they hold the key to unlocking the true potential of
my students and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in my classroom.
As I reflect on this session, I am grateful for the knowledge shared, the connections forged, and
the inspiration gained. I am confident that the insights gained from this Learning Action Cell will

students. I eagerly look forward to applying these newfound strategies and techniques, and I am
