1. Based on the top 10 global issues choose one and give 5 suggestions
on what schools must do to address the issue.

From the top ten global issues I choose pollution and the Sustainable
Development Goals for it is to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of
terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt
and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. The school can help us
address pollution.
 Teaching the youth to protect and care for our environment.
 Educating them with the right educative programs, measures, and tools, the
school managements can also sow the seeds of responsible living in the
minds of young children.
 Reduce waste
 Calculate schools carbon footprint
 Teaching the students to Recycle plastics bottles etc…

Ways by which community helps the school.

1. Serve on an advisory or decision-making committee.
2. Share information or advocate for the school.
3. Increase financial resources available to the school.

Ways by which schools helps community.

1. Education Helps to Build Strong and Vibrant Communities.
2. Education Helps to Promote Social Cohesion Within Communities.
3. Education Is a Crucial Tool for Building Bridges Between Communities
1. Based on your group list, is there real partnership between school and
community.
Yes! It 's because school and community are bound to help each other in terms of promoting
a good relationship between them.
Or do you find one party (like school) more favored because it gets more help than the
community?
No!
2. It is really important to have a partnership between the school and community?
Yes! Because it can weave together a critical mass of resources and strategies to enhance
caring communities that support all youth and their families and enable success at school and
beyond.

Please interview a teacher in your community.

1. As a teacher how do you manage the behaviors of your learners?

Behavior management is about changing behavior. This process involves making
adaptations for the person with challenging behavior and making changes in the
environment where the problem behavior occurs. Changing behavior is not just about
changing the behavior of the student, but also about changing the behavior of the adults
and other students in the environment. It is important to identify and define the behaviors
that need to be changed as well as the new, more appropriate behaviors that need to be
learned.
2. Is positive discipline really effected in disciplining learners in schools?
Yes!
Because positive discipline is a more effective way to manage misbehaving students in
the classroom, rather than using punishment or rewards. It allows students to learn and adapt
their behaviors to meet expectations in the classroom, while simultaneously teaching them
how to make better choices in their path to adulthood.
3. What is your opinion about the child protection policy?
The child protection policy is required in order to prevent any type of abuse that could
endanger students. This is not just a policy that you must follow for the rest of your life. This
type of policy, on the other hand, necessitates a careful, calculated judgment in order to arrive
at the best outcome for students’ well-being.
Being a teacher, as a surrogate parent in the classroom, has the authority to discipline
students, but not through corporal punishment. I believe that discipline is simply a reminder
to students to be responsible, and that it is part of the teacher’s job to ensure that students
behave in class.
