Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen.

I, Soumya Ranjan Patra, a student of KIIT School Of Management, KIIT welcome you all to today’s
workshop on the theme “Operations Analytics”.

Prof. Deepak Kumar Sahu is a Post Graduate from IIM-Mumbai (Formerly NITIE, Mumbai) in
Operations & Supply Chain Management. He has more than 11 years of industry experience in
conglomerates like TATA Group, RPG Group, Marico Limited & Goat Brand Labs and has handled
mid and senior level positions in Supply Chain, Projects & Retail Sales functions.

We are fortunate to have with us, Mr. Sunil, Head of Analytics and Data Science, Lenovo SSG – ISS
Center of Excellence, as the facilitator for this workshop.

Mr. Sunil is currently heading the Analytics and Data Science team for International Services
Support Organization within Lenovo.

He has a Ph.D. in Statistics from Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute and has published
more than ten research publications in various International Journals in Statistics.

He has more than 20 years of experience in various roles in the area of Data Science and Analytics
across industries like IT, FMCG, Telecom, etc. Prior to joining Lenovo, He worked at Britannia
Industries, Nokia, Anheuser Busch, and HP, managing and scaling up Data Analytics teams.
