    1. Introduction: Let me set the ball rolling by introducing the topic GST…..I deem it my
    privilege to introduce the topic……… I’d like to lay the table for introducing the topic……

    2. Presenting Arguments: There are two points here….the first important thing is…the
    second important thing is….Firstly…Secondly… 2. (a)To continue: Apart from what I’ve
    already said, I wish to add that……In addition to what I said let us turn our focus on…

    3. How to express one’s opinion: I do very strongly feel that… Well, in my opinion… As far
    as my knowledge goes... Well, if you were to ask me….

    4. Asking for opinion: Do you believe in this kind of politics?...Do you think we should
    amend the law again?.....Are you for or against bifurcation…? What do you think of political
    corruption?

    5. To interrupt someone: May I come in here please?...Would you repeat that


    please?....Excuse me! Can you shed more light on it?

    6.To ask someone not to interrupt: Please allow me to finish my point…..Just give me a
    minute I’ll get back to you soon….I’m afraid I’m not done yet.

    7. Agreement Exactly, you are absolutely right…. I do totally agree with you… I’d definitely
    go with you on this….

    8. Disagreement: I agree to disagree with you... I’d like to take your words with a pinch of
    salt… I beg to differ with you on this… No, I don’t think so… That’s pure crap…

    9. Deviation: I’m afraid we are deviating…I suppose we are straying from the point….Guys, I
    wonder we are going off the track………

    10. Conclusion: To conclude/ to put it in a nutshell…I’d like to recollect all the key points of
    the day…. On the whole most of us agreed on major suggestions like….Though there was
    minor disagreement on certain issues like….
