Some people think that school children should be asked to work individually in the class.

Other
believe that working in small groups is better. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

Some individuals have the perception that learning alone in a class is more beneficial for the students.
However, others have the contrary views and support the idea of group learning. The upcoming
paragraphs discuss both the contentions in detail and conclude with my stance.

According to the first view, predominantly, it is a mindful approach for students to study alone because
it avoids distraction and fosters attention towards a particular task. It is because in a joint session, there
is a more probability that pupils lose their concentration on the assignment and indulge in chatting with
their peers. For instance, it is a known fact that success rate of those students is tremendously high in
the examination who study by their own in class. Therefore, it is a prudent approach for the little
scholars to work alone to achieve an effective time management skill and better them in the academic
performance.

In contrast, opponents have compelling arguments and think that group learning enhances motivation
towards study among the members of a group. Moreover, when pupils are studying together in the
group, it generates different ideas which help them to be clearer with their concepts about any
particular subject. To demonstrate, it is evident that when students discuss about their subject in a
group, it gets carve into their memory and they remember it for the rest of their lives. Thus, teamwork
boosts the cognitive skills of the participants.

Too sump up, although, studying alone improves the focus, my opinion is that learning in a group is
better for the nurturement of the children as it is indispensable for the holistic development of the
learners.
