also the Minister and Leaders of this dynamic ministry.

Topic: Set aside for Gods Purpose

The scripture text is taken from Jeremiah 1:4-10

 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the
womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a
prophet to the nations.” “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how
to speak; I am too young.” But the* Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too
young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command
you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,”
declares the Lord. Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my
mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I
appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy
and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
What is Purpose?

 According to the oxford dictionary purpose is described as the reason for

which something is done or created or for which something exists.
 According to the bible purpose is to declare why you exist. It captures the
heart of why you are on this earth and why Jesus died for you. It defines
your life not in terms of what you think but what God thinks. It anchors your
life in the character and call of God. It clarifies the non-negotiables.
 With these two definitions both are similar in meaning, to summarize, being
placed on the earth for a specific reason to carry out.

What does it mean for one to be set aside by God?

 Being "set aside by God" can refer to being chosen or called by God for a
particular purpose. This purpose may be too help one in need or share god’s
word. This is also shown in the story of Jeremiah. Give example:

How do you know what is gods purpose for your life?

 Many people turn to prayer and meditation to seek guidance from a God.
They may ask for clarity, wisdom, and insight into their life's purpose during
these moments of reflection and communication with the divine.

Speak about Jeremiah and what took place in verses 4-10

 Jeremiah 1:4-10 is a significant passage in the book, as it describes the

calling of Jeremiah as a prophet. It provides insight into Jeremiah's divine
appointment and his mission. Jeremiah's calling in these verses marks the
beginning of his prophetic ministry, which is characterized by his
unwavering commitment to delivering God's messages, even in the face of
great adversity and personal suffering. His prophetic career spans several
decades and is documented in the Book of Jeremiah, where he addresses the
people of Judah and Jerusalem, warning them of impending judgment due to
their disobedience and urging them to turn back to God. Jeremiah's life and
prophetic ministry serve as a powerful example of faithfulness to God's
calling and mission.
