1 . My Best Friend: Akbar

(1) When I was in high school, I met a friend named Akbar,

who had some very admirable qualities. (2) First thing, he
looked very confident in his own unique style of clothing. (3) He
always wore a rough textured corduroy red jacket with a brown
elbow patch and olive-green faded jeans. (4) He proudly sported
a dark blue leather bracelet with a metal top around his right
hand. (5) Moreover, he used to present himself so nicely in any
occasions that people would forget his peculiar dressing style.
(6) In addition, he was a very fluent speaker and could give
speeches on any topic effortlessly. (7) Before every speech, he
tapped his finger on the microphone and began with a confident
smile. (8) His Dad was not that fluent as he was very shy. (9)
Besides, my friend was a very hardworking person. (10) He used
to study at school during day time and worked at a fast food
restaurant at night. (11) He worked so hard that sometimes he
did not have time to change his clothes before coming to the
college (12) As a result, at times, one could sniff French fries
from his clothes. (13) Lastly and most importantly, his soothing
words had a calming effect on me whenever I talked to him. (14)
His relatives were friendly like him. (15) Every time I faced a
problem, he reminded me to calm down and compose myself.
