Procedimiento:
1. Drain the pickled onions and gherkins. Cut them with a knife into very small pieces and reserve. Next, cut and
remove the crust from the bread slices. Wash the lemon by rubbing the skin well, dry it and set it aside.
2. Place the cream cheese in a bowl and stir it with a spoon for a minute or so to make it creamier. Then add the
onions and the chopped gherkins to the cheese. Wash, dry and chop some chive stems and also add them to the
previous preparation with a pinch of salt and pepper.
3. Spread 4 slices of bread with the cream cheese, forming a layer of approximately ½ cm. Arrange the slices of
smoked salmon on top. Grate a little lemon peel over these, cover with the remaining slice of bread, cut in two
and serve. To give a more intense flavor to this whole grain snack, you can add a little blue cheese to the white to
spread and mix them well.
