2. Marriage is the second most important life decision after salvation.

I have divided today’s talk into 2 parts

1) The role of the wife in marriage

Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and
they shall become one flesh.
2) The role of mothers before and during marriage
1. THE ROLE OF WIVES IN MARRIAGE

Handle this part in discussion form. Throw it to everyone for their views and add yours to them.

2. ROLE OF MOTHERS BEFORE AND DURING MARRIAGE

 Mothers are the role models for their kids. No need for plenty advice just before their
marriage. Just show them how marriage should be with your own lifestyle.
 The mother is the first ambassador of marriage to their children. We should not talk negative
about marriage to our children. Doing so gives children bad idea about marriage.
 We should not “necessarily” prepare children (especially our daughters) for marriage.

 We must try as much as possible to teach our kids (both males and females) good family
values
 Parents are to ASSIST not INSIST when it comes to the marriage of their children.
