PROLOGUE

Lunavierra POV

"Hi mom." I greeted her as i entered the house.

"Oh you're here darling." She approached me and kissed me on my right cheek. " Are you okay honey?
You looked pale." She asked worriedly.

I shook my head. "I'm fine mom, don't worry 'bout me. Maybe I'm just tired because of-you know our
company at U.S , and i need to handle those problems." I said and smiled so she didn't have to get
worried about me.

"I shouldn't have invited you here honey so you can get some rest."

"No need mom, I've told you I'm fine. And also i missed you."

"You're such a stubborn woman." She said and chuckled. "After this take a rest okay? I'm sorry, i just
missed my daughter." She added.

"I love you mom." I said and hugged her.

"I love you too honey. Come on your kuya and you're Ate selena probably on their way now, he said he
wanted to see you since it's been a month since you've seen each other."

"Really? Do you think he really missed me? Or he just missed annoying me." I chuckled.
"Yea! My little tiny sister is here!" Someone shouted at the door. No one other than Mr Blake Wax
Evuarez, my annoying brother.

"Will you please shut your mouth! You're so loud." Ate Selena said behind my brother.

"Ate!" I exclaimed before running towards her.

I hugged her and she hugged me back. "I missed you Luna." She whispered behind my ears. She's the
wife of my kuya, she's beautiful like an angel. And she's kind person too.

"Kung makayakap parang limang taon hindi nag kita!" I heard my brother whisper.

I looked at him. "Kesa naman sayo! Kalalaki mong tao ang lakas mo tumili!" I said and laughed.

He just rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen. "Parang bakla." Bulong ko.

"Ano panga ba." Ate Selena agreed and we both laughed.

"Oh siya tara na, para makapag bake na tayo." Mom said and went to the kitchen.

Habang nag lalakad kami papuntang kusina biglang nag tanong si ate Selena. "Asan asawa mo? Bat di mo
kasama?" She asked.

"A-ah busy lang ate, andami rin kase naging problema sa kumpanya ko these few days. So he needs to
handle some of those." I explained and smiled.
She just nodded. Nakarating kami sa kusina at si Kuya ay lumabas at pumunta sa kwarto niya dahil mag
papalit daw muna siya ng damit while me and ate Selena prepare the ingredients for cake.

"Dito ka matutulog?" Suddenly ate asked.

"No, i need to go home ate e. I have an appointment Tomorrow."

"I see."

"Mom? When will dad be going home?" I asked.

"Maybe next week honey, why?"

"Nothing mom, i just missed him." I said.

"Do you want me to tell him that you missed him? He'll probably be going home immediately." She said
and chuckled.

"No mom! He's busy saka na po pag nakauwi na siya punta ako dito ulit."

"Okay." She nodded.

We started to bake a cake. Ate Selena and mom guided me, they taught me how to bake a cupcake and
a cake. At si kuya naman ay nasa sala habang nanonood ng TV. Ate Selena keeps telling us a story, she
tells us how she enjoyed their honeymoon in canada. And she even tells us the epic moments of kuya.
We keep on laughing hanggang sa marinig nalang namin ang tunong ng oven, hudyat na luto na ito.
We started designing the cake with icing. I choose Vanilla flavour and chocolate flavour for Ate Selena
and mom. After a few minutes we're done. Our cakes are ready to eat na.

We went to the living room where my brother was. We started to eat and as usual he chose to eat the
home made cake of ate Selena. Kuya keeps on teasing me, sabi niya pa ay hindi na raw ako tatanggad
kahit kailan. He loved annoying me.

"Don't be mad my lil tiny sister, kuya gwapo loves you." He said with a matching pogi sign he even
smirked.

"San banda?" I asked sarcastically.

Nawala nag ngisi niya dahil sa sinabi ko. "Bunso where are your eyes? Bakit di mo makita ang gwapo
kong mukha?"

Laki talaga ng saltik ng isang to. Hanggang sa sumapit ang hapon at hindi niya ako tinantanan. Hindi bato
mabubuhay kapag hindi ako inaasar niya? I swear if only dad was here susumbong ko talaga siya.

Nasa kalagitnaan kami ng tawanan nang pakiramdam ko ay bigla akong nahilo hindi naman ganon kalala
kaya nag disisyon na akong umuwi at mag pahinga nalang sa bahay baka dala lang ng pagod ko.

"Ingat ka Luna." Ate Selena said.

"Drive home safety honey." Mom said.

"Yea don't worry." I said and hugged them both.

"Hatid na kaya kita bunso? Para masigurado kong okey ka. Napansin ko kase kanina na maputla ka."
Kuya suggested.
"No need kuya, I'm perfectly fine. pagod lang ako okey? Konting pahinga lang to."

"But-"

I shut him. " No buts." I said. " Bye mom, bye Ate and also by Kuya kong gwapong gwapo sa sarili." I
smirked at him.

We farewell to each other, maglalakad na sana ako nang pakiramdam ko ay bumigat ang ulo ko,
nanlalabo ang paningin ko, Napahawak ako kay kuya dahil siya ang mas malapit saakin.

"Luna! Anong nangyari sayo?" Kuya worriedly asked.

I wasn't able to answer him because i felt that anytime I would collapse. Nanlumo ako kaya kaagad
akong nawalan ng balanse buti nalang ay sinalo agad ako ni kuya.

They keep on asking me what's going on with me, i know they are worried but i feel like i don't have any
strength to answer. Hanggang sa unti unti kong naramdaman ang pagbigat ng mata ko at hindi kona rin
marinig ang mga tinig nila.
CHAPTER 1

Lunavierra POV

I slowly opened my eyes at nakita ko agad ang puting kisame pero hindi ako nasa hospital, nasa bahay
parin.

"Oh thank god you're awake anak!" Mom said beside me. "How's your feeling huh? May masakit paba?
Tell me." She worriedly asked.

Uupo na sana ako ng biglang kumirot ang ulo ko pero panandalian lamang ito.

"Shh stayed on the bed." Ate Selena interrupted beside mom.

"W-what happened?" I huskily asked.

"You collapsed a while ago anak, tell me may masakit paba sayo?" Mom said and held my left hand.

"I-i'm fine mom." I lied. Yea I'm not fine, my head is still aching.

"You keep on telling me that you were fine even though you are not! Anak naman wag mo naman sana
pabayaan ang sarili mo."

"M-mom i told you kaya ko."

"Sabi ng doktor mo stress lang daw, you need to take a long rest so you will be able to recover your
strength again." Ate Selena said.

"Y-yea i-i'm just t-tired." I whispered.

"God! I shouldn't have invited you, I'm sorry anak." Mom said emotionally.

"It's okay mom, I'll just take some rest and I'll be fine."

"Fine! Dito kana muna mag palipas ng gabi ihahatid kalang ng kuya mo bukas. And also i already called
your husband to tell him what happened earlier, and i said na dito kana muna matutulog he agreed
naman. Nasa Cebu pa raw siya kaya hindi siya makakauwi dito." Mom explained.

As if he cares?

I just nodded. "Alright get some sleep again." I nodded again.

They left me after the conversation. Saka kona napagtanto na may meeting pa pala ako bukas. Hayst!

Nakatulog ako ulit at nagising nalang ako dahil sa sinag ng araw na tumama sa mukha ko. Unti unti
akong umupo mukhang okay naman ako hindi narin sumasakit ang ulo ko.

I went to the bathroom to wash my face before going downstairs. Kitang kita ko sa salamin kung gaano
ka putla ang mukha ko. Ganito naba talaga ako na stress para mag mukhang walang dugo ang mukha ko.
I sighed and went downstairs.

Naabutan ko si mom na nag hahanda ng agahan wala siyang katulong dito dahil ayaw niya kaya niya na
daw. si kuya naman ay naka upo na sa dining table. Nang makita niya ako ay agad niya akong nginitian.
"Good morning anak, okay kana ba?" She asked.

I nodded and sat beside kuya. "Kuya asan si Ate?" I asked.

"Nasa taas pa, pababa nayun." He answered.

Ilang saglit pa ay bumaba na si Ate Selena at tapos na si mama sa pag hahanda.

"Let's eat." Aniya.

Nag simula na kaming kumain sobrang dami ng kinain ko dahil hindi ako nakakain kagabi. Pag katapos
namin kumain nag pahatid na agad ako kay kuya hindi nako naligo doon sa bahay nalang ako maliligo at
diretcho na sa opisina.

"Take care mom, ate. Bye" i said and went inside the car.

Hindi na ako masyadong kinukulit ni kuya hanggang sa makarating kami ng bahay. Iniwan niya ang kotse
ko at mag co- commute nalang daw siya pauwi.

Pag kapasok ko sa loob ng bahay ay parang walang nag bago, tahimik parin animoy walang taong
nakatira. Umakyat na ako sa kwarto ko para doon maligo. Nang matapos ako nag bihis na ako, isang
simpleng dress lang ang sinuot ko. Kulay itim ito, nag lagay lang ako ng kaunting lipstick para hindi halata
ang putla ng labi ko.

When I'm done lumabas na ako at pumunta sa kotse. I went inside the car at pinaharurot kona ito.
Hindi naman gaanong traffic kaya agad akong nakarating sa kumpanya. They greeted me and i just
smiled at them.

"Ms Evuarez Good morning." My secretary greeted me.

Yes Ms Evuarez, because they didn't know that I'm already married. Our marriage is not revealed. Kami
kami lang din ang nakakaalam, ang alam lang nila ay business partner lang kami ng asawa ko.

"Morning." Tipid na sagot ko bago pumasok sa opisina.

"Ms Evuarez, Ms Smith is on her way now."

"Ang aga naman? Akala ko ay mamayang hapon pa." I said confused.

"Hindi ko rin po alam Ms Evuarez basta tumawag siya at ang sabi ay ngayon na daw at sa pag kakaalam
ko ay wala rin po kayong meeting this day bukod kay Ms Smith kaya sinabi ko na baka okay lang sainyo."
She explained.

"Fine, para makauwi narin ako ng maaga." I said.

Lumabas narin siya pag katapos. I sighed and started fixing the documents on my table bakit parang
kulang ito? Wala dito yung folder ng lunching last month.

I called my secretary and she immediately entered my office. "Alia where is the folder of launching last
month?" I asked.

"Ah hindi po ba nasa office ni Mr Riego, dahil kinuha nya po yung copy na yun." She explained.
I nodded. "Sige ako nalang ang kukuha." I said at lumabas na ng opisina.

Nang makarating ako sa opisina niya naamoy ko agad ang pabango niya na parang andito lang siya. I
really loved his scent, his manly scent.

I sighed. "If only you love me." I whispered.

I chuckled because of my thoughts. What a stupid thought, no matter what i do he will never love me.
And that's the hurtful fact.

I went to his table at nakita ko agad ang hinahanap ko. Kinuha ko yon aalis na sana ako ng may napansin
akong isang box sa tabi ng laptop niya. It's cute, i wonder what it is? He never gave me a ring, bracelet or
necklace. Kahit yung wedding ring namin ay si papa ang bumili pero hindi naman niya ito sinusuot.

Parang may nag tutulak saakin na buksan ang kahon na iyon. Hindi naman siguro siya magagalit no?
Titingnan ko lang naman. Kinuha ko yung maliit na box, kulay pula ito. Agad kong binuksan ito at
bumungad saakin ang magandang necklace. May pendant ito na S, ang ganda naman nito.

Baka ibibigay niya ito kay tita dahil S at Sandy ang pangalan ni tita, sakto naman at malapit na ang
kaarawan ni tita. He's so sweet when it comes to his mother, but me? Oh let's not talk about it.

Bumalik ako sa opisina ko at sinabi sakin ng secretary ko na hindi na daw dumeretcho dito si Ms Smith
dahil nasa malapit na restaurant nalang daw kami mag kikita.

Ang mamadali akong pumunta sa parking lot para pumunta sa restaurant na sinabi ng secretary ko.
Nakakahiya naman paghintayin si Ms Smith doon. She's our new business partner, at malaki ang inoffer
ng kumpanya nila saamin sa gaganapin na bagong lunching ng kumpanya namin. Kaya i won't miss this
opportunity.
Nakarating agad ako doon dahil hindi naman ito kalayuan sa kumpanya namin, pinark ko agad ang
sasakyan sa parking lot at pumasok na sa restaurant.

I immediately saw her, alam kong siya yun kahit na ito ang unang beses nang pag kikita namin. Her
beauty was stunning kaya nakakaagaw ito ng atensyon ng mga tao.

"Good morning Ms Smith, I'm sorry to keep you waiting." I immediately apologize.

"It's okay, it's not that long." She said and smiled.

God, she looks like an angel.

"Have a sit."

I nodded and sat in front of her.

She looks so sexy with her red dress. At bumagay sakaniya ang blond hair niya. Mukha siyang model-no
she's really a model. This was the first time that I felt insecure by myself.

"I'm sorry i wasn't able to come to your company and masyadong napaaga ang meeting, because i need
to go to cebu my boyfriend was there. And he wanted to see me since it's been-i think four months since
we last saw each other, he probably miss me."

I just smiled. "It's okay, wala naman akong hinahabol na oras." I said. "Your boyfriend really loves you
huh?" I added.

"Yea he is, and i love him too." She softly chuckled.

I saw her genuine smiled. She really inlove huh?

We ordered food, and while eating we talked about the company. Until we're done. I went back to the
company to get my bag. I will be going home i will handle the rest at home. Baka himatayin nanaman
ako.

"Ms Evuarez uuwi na po kayo?" My secretary asked as i entered my office.

"Yea, just call if something happens." I said.

I grabbed my bag and immediately went out.

"Yes po."

I went to my car and drove fast it's not traffic today so i arrived home immediately. I went inside the
house and then i saw manang Linda there.

She greeted me when she saw me. "Good morning po ma'am."

"Morning manang, nakauwi napo pala kayo akala ko ay sa makalawa pa ang uwi niyo." I was greeted
back.

She's our housemaid she went to her province last week to have a visit to her family.

"Ay nako iha nag alala ako sayo dahil wala kang kasama dito kaya umuwi na ako ngayon." She said.
"Okay lang po ako dito manang sana inenjoy nyo muna doon, baka namimiss kayo ng mga apo nyo. I can
handle myself manang so you don't have to worry about me." I said.

"Alam kona man yun iha, pero wala kang kasama dito mahirap na at marami pang masasamang tao
ngayon."

I smiled. "Ikaw talaga manang, sige ho aakyat na muna ako sa taas para makapagpahinga." I said.

She nodded and i went to my room to change my clothes. After that i lay down on my bed, i yawned and
after a minute i slowly closed my eyes and slept.

Days passed and nothing changed, he was still there at cebu I don't know when he will be going home.
And me? I'm still busy at the company. But today I'm not going to the company because i feel like I'm
sick.

"Iha inumin mo muna itong gamot mo." Manang said behind the door.

"Yes po." I shouted so she would hear me.

She opened the door and handed me the medicines I needed to take. I drank it and lay down on my bed
again.

"Nga pala, tumawag saakin ang asawa mo at ang sabi niya baka bukas na daw siya uuwi dito." She
explained.

I nodded. Why would he call manang instead of me? I'm his wife after all. Oh yea i forgot I'm just
nothing for him.
Manang left me and went outside to buy groceries. It's already four in the afternoon so baka mamaya
payun makauwi.

Hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog na pala ako. Nagising ako dahil narinig kong may ingay sa labas. I
grabbed my phone and it's just thirty minutes passed since manang left, mukhang ang bilis naman niya.

I decided to go outside to check her. I was on the ladder when i saw my husband's room was opened. I
slowly went there and i was shocked and stunned at the same time when i saw a tall man with a black
hoodie coming from my husband's room.

He was looking for something when i noticed our wedding ring on top of his mini table. Without
doubting i ran towards the table and grabbed the ring. The man suddenly alarmed when he noticed me.

"K-kuya parang awa mona, kunin mona lahat dito wag lang po ito." I shakingly said.

"Wala akong ititira dito miss, kaya kung gusto mopa mabuhay akin nayan." He said.

When he was about to grab the ring on my hands i fastly ran out the room. I was on the ladder when he
caught me, he immediately pulled my hands.

"K-kuya parang awa mona, mahalaga po ito saakin."

"Oo nga! Mahalaga yan sayo at alam kong mahal din yan kaya akin na!" He shouted.

I shook my head, tinulak ko siya pero dahil mas malakas siya kaysa saakin kaya hindi siya natinag.

Kinuha niya ang kamay ko kung nasaan ang sing sing. Hinawakan ko ito ng mahigpit upang hindi niya
mukha.
"Wag nang matigas ang ulo bata! Akin na!"

Hindi ako nag patinag at mas hinigpitan ko pa ang hawak sa sing sing.

He sighed. "Mukhang wala na akong magagawa." He said.

I was stunned when i saw his gun on his left hand. Mag pupumiglas na sana ako ng bigla niya itong
ipinutok saakin.

Binitawan niya ang aking kamay kaya ramdam na ramdam ko ang pag gulong ko sa hagdan buti nalang
ay hindi masyadong mataas ang hagdan, napadaing ako sa sakit ng maramdaman ko ang pagbagsak ko.
Hinawakan ko ang puson ko kung saan may likidong dumadaloy doon.

Shit! It was blood.

Narinig ko ang kalabog sa itaas at malakas na pag bukas ng pinto.

"Fuck!" I heard someone shout and ran towards me.

I can't open my eyes I feel like I'm really sleepy, i want to sleep. Naramdaman kona lang ang pag angat
ko sa ere. I also feel his heavy breath, ang lakas ng tibok ng puso niya.

"Damn! Open your eyes please! Fuck! Don't sleep yet." He said.

H-hes here, i should be happy right? My husband is here.

"I-i'm sorry." I whispered.

May sinabi pa siya pero hindi kona marinig, ilang saglit pa ay unti unti na ako nawalan ng malay.
CHAPTER 2

Lunavierra POV

i slowly opened my eyes, puting kisame agad ang bumungad saakin, I'm at the Hospital.

"h-hey! Are you okay? How are you feeling? Huh? You scared the hell out of me." Kalix worriedly said
beside me.

Bigla kong naramdaman ang pag kirot ng tagiliran ko. "M-sakit ang tiyan ko."

Wait what happened?

"Dahil yan sa bala na tumama sayo." He explained.

"B-bala ano-?" I asked him confused.

Saka lang nag sink in saakin ang nangyari.

"A-are you the one who'd bring me here?" Agad na tanong ko sakaniya.

"Yea, why?" He nodded.

I disappointedly shook my head and smiled.

"Nothing."
Yea, why would he come for me? I'm just nothing for him after all tsk.

"Okay, I'll just call your doctor to check you." He said and went out.

After a few minutes someone opened the door i thought it was Kalix but it was ate Selena and Kuya who
were coming from the door.

"Luna are you okay? Should i call mom?" Ate Selena asked.

"I'm fine Ate." I answered.

"How are you feeling? Are you hungry? We brought some foods for you in cased you're awake." Kuya
interrupted.

"Masakit lang ng kaunti ang tiyan ko. And yes I'm hungry."

"Damn that bastard! If only Kalix wouldn't come there god knows what I can do to that bastard!" He
madly said.

"Calm down kuya, I'm fine. Hindi naman ako natuluyan e baril lang yun." I said.

"Putang- ano?! Baril lang? Peste! San kaba pinag lihi ni mama? Sa katangahan?"

Wrong moved, oo nga naman baril yun e malamang nakakamatay yun. What a stupid mind.

"Love calm down." Pag susuyo ni ate Selena kay kuya.

"Kuya bago mo ako pagalitan pwede pakainun mo muna ako? Baka hindi bala nag papatay saakin kundi
gutom." I said.

I heard him sigh.

"Yea, you're probably hungry apat na araw banamang tulog." Ate Selena said.

"Ano? Apat na araw?" I asked.

Teka? Baka nakauwi na yun galing cebu? Pinuntahan niya ba ako dito? Ay baka hindi, bakit nga ba niya
ako pupuntahan?

Ate handed me the food, when i was about to eat when suddenly the door opened at niluwa doon si
Kalix at Doctor.

"You're finally awake Ms Evuarez." The doctor said.

I smiled.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

Maniniwala kaya to pag sinabi kong okay lang ako? Na hindi masakit ang tahi ko? Tsk.

"Medjo masakit pa po ang tahi sa tyan ko." I explained.

Chineck niya ako at pagkatapos nun umalis din siya kaagad ang sabi niya ay magiging okay din ako.
kuya and Kalix went out to buy me medicines. Ate Selena was busy on her cellphone when I asked her.

"Ate did Adzriel visit me?" I asked.

"Yup, pero saglit lang he didn't took an hour." She said.

I don't know what to feel. Did he really? I should be happy right? He visited me. But something was
wrong, i don't know what.

Mom came for me when she knew that I'd awake and also dad he returned home from US immediately
when he found out what had happened to me, he's sickly worried.

When mom and dad returned home i heard the door was opened and i saw my husband there. i don't
know what to feel, did he really come for me this time? O baka napadaan lang? I shouldn't be
overthinking, i looked at him and he was holding a basket of fruit.

"Hey? I brought you some fruits. Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded and looked away, I couldn't hold my gaze on him any longer. I feel like weak, he's ocean eyes
makes me weak damn it!

"I-i'm fine."

"That's good then." He said and put the basket of fruit on the table. He walked towards the sofa beside
the table and seat there.
"Actually i just came here to bring this, I'll be back to the company." He said, he was talking to the fruit
he brought to me.

"O-okay."

"Tss such a stubborn woman! Why did you fight that fucking bastard huh?" I was shocked when he
shouted at me.

Sabi nanga ba hindi lang prutas ang dala nya. Kundi pati narin sermon. Expect kona to e, ganito siya lagi
kapag nakakagawa ako ng mga bagay na hindi siya gusto. Ang galing talaga mangbilog ng utak itong
lalaking to e ano!.

Hindi ako sumagot at timingin nalang sa ibaba.

"I need an valid answer woman! Because of your stubbornness you almost died! For the Pete's sake
think of yourself before you're going to do that stupid things!" Oh god he's mad.

"Look at me!" He commanded.

Shit! Shit! What should i do? Should i look at him? He didn't eat me alive right? God I'm scared! It's just
his voice but it brings me nerve.

"I said look at me! I didn't eat you alive stupid!" He coldly said.

Right! How can he read my mind just like that? Tsk! I slowly looked at him and i met his emotionsless yet
cold eyes. Damn this perfect figured of him. Should i collapse?

"A-ano kase-" he cut me off when i was about to say something.

"Nah! I don't need any of your stupid reasons!" He said, he was looking at me directly. And I'm getting
weak and weak at the same time.

"From now on you are not allowed to go home alone. If you're going home tell me I'll be the one who
brought you home. And also I'd hire some guards at our house." He said.

"A-are you doing this because you are concerned to me? Or-" again he cut me off.

"Yes, I'm doing this because i am concerned to my stupid wife! This is for you so don't ask anything
else."

Did he just called me his wife? Damn! This is the first time. Bakit parang iba ang pakikitungo niya saakin
ngayon?

"O-okay!" Bakit pa palagi nalang ako nauulol pag siya kaharap ko? Tsk!

B-bakit parang? Kinikilig ako? Damn you self! Remember what he did to you? Remember that he doesn't
love you!.

"Have you eaten?" He suddenly asked.

"Yea." I answered.

Damn! Hindi dapat yung sagot ko e! Baka subuan ako nito pag nalaman niyang hindi pa. Buang ka talaga
self, he's right! I should be think before doing something.

"That's good." He said.

After that conversation he went home to finish what his doing before he came here. At ako? Kilig parin,
marupok e.

Days passed and I was already discharged from the hospital. I returned home with Manang, she took
care of me while i was at the hospital.

Two weeks passed and my injury was not totally fine but now i can work again like before, and the thief
who tried to kill me was arrested by the police, i don't know how they found that man. I'd came to the
company yesterday and i haven't seen him there. And Ms Smith has her own office at our company now.

"Vera!" Someone called my name.

I saw Kalix holding a lunch box on his right hand. Kalix has been my best friend since we were just
kindergarten. And also he's the one who brought me to the hospital when the thief shot me that time. I
thought it was my husband but it was not.

"Have you been eating your lunch?" He asked as he approached me.

"Not yet." I answered.

"Let's have lunch together then." He offered me and smiled.

"Sure."

We came to my office, and we decided to eat our lunch there.

"Ayan, luto yan ni mama para sayo. Paborito mo raw kase yan." He said and handed me the lunch box
that has a chicken adobo in there.

"Really? I miss tita." I said and got the lunch box on him.

"She probably missed you too, When will you visit her again?" He asked.

"Maybe when I'm not that busy Mr Wenher." I said and smiled.

"Tsk! Stop calling me Mr wenher Vera! That's too formal." He chuckled.

He shook his head and started eating. We ate together and after that he went home because tita Athena
was alone so he needed to go home early.

I went outside to look for my secretary, i have to go to the mall to buy a dress for me because the new
launching of our company is one month from now i need to prepare my dress baka sa sobrang busy ko
ay hindi na ako makabili, Ngayon lang ako may free time kaya bibili na ako.

We opened a new hotel near our company. I was at the Hallway when i heard some of our staff

I left immediately there, baka kung ano pa ang marinig ko. Hindi naman siguro niya magagawa saakin

My smile immediately faded when i remembered what I heard earlier. Damn it, i shouldn't be jealous
because i know she has a boyfriend so it is impossible that they are together or whatever it is.

"Hey are you okey?" She asked me worriedly.

"Y-yea I'm fine."

"Do you think my boyfriend will love this dress?" She asked.

"Yea of course, you look stunning." I said.

"I hope so."

"Wait, your boyfriend will come to our party?" I asked, confused.

She chuckled. "Yea of course, he'll be my partner there." She said.

"Oh yea." I said.

She bought that dress and she farewell to me she said she has something to do so i let her.

I picked a dress too, it's a navy blue off shoulder it has silver dust so it looks stunning. When I'm done i
went to a restaurant since i feel hungry. I just ordered halo halo since it's almost night. I would like to
eat at home, i missed Manang chicken adobo.

While i was eating when i saw a familiar figure outside the restaurant she was holding a paper bag that
she bought earlier. And beside her was a man with a black shirt. His back was familiar to me, nakatalikod
ito saakin at nakaharap kay Ms Smith.

It looks like he is her boyfriend because they're holding their hands together. I saw how she smiled at
him when she mounted something and he kissed her cheeks. She left him and went to the pet store, the
man left too.

I wonder who that man was, i have this feeling that I've already met him because his figure was familiar
to me.

I went home and i saw him there, he was holding his laptop and it looked like he was going somewhere.

"W-where are you going?" I asked.

"Company, I'll just check something there." He said and when he was about to go outside I stopped him.

"Have you been eating?" I asked.

"Yea." Tipid na sagot nya bago lumabas.

that ever since then. He never treated me well, i mean he doesn't abuse me by physically but
emotionally will do.

I went to my room to change my clothes and went downstairs afterwards. Manang cooked for me a
Chicken adobo. We ate together since she waited for me to come home before she ate. How sweet isn't
she? She's like a mother to me. She took care of me since i was a little child, until I've grown up.

After we ate i went upstairs to sleep. But after an hour passed I still couldn't sleep. I think of him again, i
thought i was proficient by his actions towards me. but it still hurts.

I often get hurt by his actions, by his words all of the things he does. It's been three years but he still
can't love me back and he will never be. A few months from now we can finally get divorce. he will be
happy for that? Of course he will. Besides he never loved me.

"Damn! Ano yan dugo? Sa ilong mo? May sugat ba ilong mo?" He asked me confused and worried at the
same time.

"W-what? No!" I said at hinawakan ang sinasabi niyang dugo raw sa itong ko.
D-damn how did-? Shit! Eto nanaman ang sakit ng ulo ko. Agad akong napahawak sa ulo ko dahil sa hilo
at sakit. Nanlalabo narin ang paningin ko.

I felt someone touched me.

"H-hey what happened to you? Masakit ba ulo mo?" He asked.

I can't respond to him dahil hindi kona kaya ang sakit ng ulo ko. Dahil sa pag kakahagad ni Kalix kaya
hindi ako natumba.

"Luna!" I heard Kalix shouted at unti unti narin akong nawalan ng malay.
CHAPTER 3

Lunavierra POV

"w-what? Doc! Hindi pwede yun! Walang ganon ang anak ko!" I heard my mom shouted.

"But ma'am, it was clear that she has a-"

"No! Nag kakamali lang kayo! Walang ganon ang anak ko! I test nyo ulit para malaman na nag kakamali
lang kayo! Pagod lang sya kaya sya nahimatay."

"Mom calm down, baka mapano ka." I heard kuya said.

"Excuse me po." I heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Sige Doc." Kuya said.

I heard the doors opened and closed it immediately.

"Bakit ganito? Wala naman siyang sakit diba? Nag kakamali lang ang Doctor na yun!" Mom said.

"Mom, huminahon kana muna. Kung sakali man, ipapagamot natin siya." Kuya said.

"Hinde ayoko! Walang ganon si Luna, mabubuhay pa siya ng matagal!"

"Oo ma, kaya huminahon ka muna. Papunta na rito si papa."

Tumahimik na sila pag katapos nun, i slowly opened my eyes at bumungad saakin ang puting kisame.
Tumingin agad ako kung saan naroon sina mama at kuya. They looked at me worriedly.

"Anak? Gising kana." Mom said. "Gusto mo bang kumain?" She added.

"A-ano pong nangyari?" Instead of answering her, i asked her.

"Kumain kana muna, para mag karoon ka ng lakas hmm." She said.

I just nodded, she immediately got the food for me. Babangon na sana ako ng hawakan ako ni kuya,
inalalayan nya ako hanggang sa makaupo ako ng mabuti.

Mom fed me, ako na sana ang mag susubo mag isa ko when she refused it. She said wala pa akong lakas
para sumubo mag isa.

Ang weird nila.

While i was eating kuya went out, he said he had something to do. But he'll come back afterwards. After

she's crying.

"I'm sorry anak, your dad was right. I'm sorry i should have take care of you." She said while crying.

Unti unti prumoseso ang lahat sa utak ko. Ayun pala yung pinag usapan nila ng doctor kanina. About
sakin, na may leukemia ako. I am dying? Tanggap kona man e, we all die but I'm scared, i don't want to
leave them yet.

"M-ma wag moko iyakan, hindi pa ako patay." I tried to joke.

Mom stopped from crying and kissed me on my forehead before taking off of her embrace. She held my
shoulder.

"Anak, ipapagamot ka namin ha? Andito lang kami mahal na mahal kita." She said and hugged me again.

Days passed and I'm still at the Hospital Adzriel didn't visit me because i don't want him to know of my
situation. ayokong masaktan pa lalo dahil alam kona man na wala siyang paki alam. Mom said to him
that we just have a vacation. And also the worst is that the doctor removed my hair because my
leukemia is already severe. Mom was crying, she can't stand seeing me like this.

"Wow? Ikaw ba talaga yan? Parang sa tanang buhay ko ngayon mo lang ako pinuri ah." I chuckled.

Kuya pouted. "Naks kuya! Wag kanga sumimangot mas lalo kang pumapangit!" I said and laughed.

Mom laughed too. "Ma! Ang daya nyo, pag ako nang asar pagagalitan nyo ako tapos pag si bunso tatawa
pa kayo." He said at mas lalong nag dabog.

I know it's not that serious. They just want me to be happy, they want me to be strong, they want me to
fight of course i wanted it too.

Mom didn't leave me at the hospital for almost seven days. Kulang nanga lang ay dalhin niya na ang mga
gamit niya dito. Siya at si Ate Selena ang nag alaga saakin. No one knows my illness, aside from my

Days passed and i already got home, with mama, hindi ako umuwi sa bahay namin. I used a wig at Hindi

kung bakit ang tagal kong lumiban, kaya nag protesta si Kalix at Kuya na sasamahan daw nila ako
papasok.

bilin sa dalawa. Dapat daw kumain ako sa tamang oras at dapat gulay lagi ang kainin ko. At pag katapos
nun ay uminom ako ng gamot sa tamang oras. Halos kabisado na ni kuya lahat. Natatawa na lamang ako
dahil hanggang sa makasakay kami ng kotse ay habol parin ang bilin ni mama.

Kuya was on the driver seat and Kalix was on the back seat while I was on the passenger seat. It's
already nine in the morning and we are really late. When we arrived, kuya parked the car and we went
inside the company.

The guards immediately greeted me and i just smiled at them. When we were inside, someone
approached me, it was one of our staff. We stopped.

"Ah excuse me po ma'am, sorry to bother you po. Pero pwede po pakipirmahan ito, utos po ito ni Mr
Santos para po sa paparating na launching." She said.

I signed it, while signing it i heard the girls in the corner were gossiping. I don't really know when it was
really a gossip o nag paparinig talaga kase dinig na dinig ko e.

"Anjan na si ma'am."

"Oo nga! Parang may nag bago sakanya."

"Parang wala naman."

"Maganda parin, I'm not going to wonder anymore when Mr Riego was in love with her, kita mona man
bukod sa sexy, maganda at mabait pa."

I just shook my head and sighed, we were about to continue to walk when suddenly i heard Kalix
interrupted with them.

"Hey miss, what's your name?" He asked.

I looked at him confused but he didn't notice it because he was looking at the girl in front of him.

"M-mela s-sir." The girl answered him while blushing.

"Oh yea, miss Mela. I just wanted to inform you that Ms Lunavierra Grace Evuarez is soon to be my

immediately leaves them agape.

And we continued to walk, i was still shocked at what he did.

Kalix shrugged and laughed. "What's wrong? I've just been making fun of them." He said and smirked.
"Unless Luna wants it too." He looked at me and winkled.

He just laughed until we reached my office. My secretary greeted me and i greeted her back. We went
inside and my office was still the same. I went to my chair and sat there.

I was taping on my laptop and kuya and Kalix was playing chess. Yea i loved playing chess. I chuckled
when i heard kuya gasped because he always defeated by Kalix.

"You're delusive! Hindi naman yan ganyan e! Di ka pala marunong mag chess." Kuya said annoyingly.

Yea he probably annoyed because every time he got defeated, Kalix will irritated him.

"Ikaw yung di marunong, palagi kanga talo." Kalix said and laughed.

Babaw talaga ng kaligayan neto.

"Edi ako na hindi marunong atleast nagustuhan ako ng crush ko, e ikaw? Hanggang friend zone ka lang
naman e." Kuya exclaimed and laughed harder.

Kalix face got irritated. "She'll be mine soon bro, and wag ka mag alala na record ko yung sinabi mo. I
sesent ko ito kay Selena." He said and smirked.

"Gag-" i cut him off.

"Hey hey! Yung mag aaway lang naman kayo dito sa opisina ko pwede bang lumabas na kayo! Dun kayo
mag patayan sa labas mga isip bata. Hindi ako nakakapag focus sa ginagawa ko dahil ang iingay nyo.
Mukha naman kayong unggoy." I said and rolled my eyes.

But i was just kidding aside. I used to call them 'mukhang unggoy' when we were just child. Saamin tatlo
ako yung mahilig mang asar not until we grown up, sila na yung nang aasar sakin. Kumbaga tables
turned.

They sighed. " Eto kase e." Sabat ni Kalix.

"Hoy! Maka unggoy kana man, e ikaw nga hindi na tumangkad." Kuya said.

"Aba't- hindi ka titigil?" I said and grabbed my phone.

I was acting like I was going to call mom when they immediately stood up and went to the door. psh
childish.

"Okay since it's already eleven, bibili muna kami ng lunch." Kuya said and he immediately went out.
Sumunod naman si Kalix.

Hay, mga isip bata. Kuya and Kalix was best friend since when they were just kids. At dahil kapatid din
ako ni kuya, we used to be close with Kalix kaya ayun nag mag kaibigan din kami.

I continued taping on my laptop when suddenly the doors was opened. I thought it was kuya and Kalix
but it was Adzriel, my husband.

He entered my office and looked at me directly. I met his cold eyes, god my heart beats so fast.

He put his two hands on his left pocket while walking towards me.
"Where have you been?" He asked coldly.

"Why do you care?" I directly said.

His jaws dropped because this was the first time that i answered him like that. Nakakunot ang noo

Kahit pala anong gawin ko parang hindi ko kayang makipag tigasan sakaniya. Mata palang niya ay nang

my disease. So even if it is hard i will do my best to distance from him and i know someone either I'll die
or we will get divorce.

Sobrang kabog ng dibdib ko habang nakatingin sa mga asul niyang mata. Fuck! Why should i get to this
point that i should ignore him even though he is my weakness.

I tried my best to hide my emotions and stared at him cold like he did to me.

"I said, why do you care? Should i repeat it again so that you can hear it clearly?" I said. I hope he didn't
notice that i was nervous.

"What the fuck-luna?" He said madly. "What the fuck are you talking about? Of course i care! I am your

After that day we didn't talk at hindi ako umuwi sa bahay. Nag stay ako sa bahay ni mama dahil ayaw
niya rin ako pauwiin para daw mas maalagaan niya ako.

This is the day before the launching of our company. Kaya mas naging busy ako pero hindi na katulad ng
dati na sobrang stress ako dahil andito si kuya at Kalix pati narin si Ate Selena.

I went to the hotel na bagong ioopend namin para makita ang ayos non. The designer was my friend
when we were just in high school, she's really famous because of her skills design.

Si Kalix ang sumama saakin at si kuya naman ang naiwan sa kumpanya. Si ate Selena naman ang namili
ng dress for mom.

"We're here." Kalix said.

Nakarating agad kami dahil hindi naman ito kalayuan sa kumpanya namin. Bumaba agad ako ng kotse at
pumasok sa loob. Nang makapasok ako bumungad saakin ang ibang staff na tumutulong sa pag aayos. Sa
entrance palang maganda na, sa tenth floor gaganapin ang launching at i decided na mag fireworks at
the end of the party tomorrow sa rooftop.

I went to the tenth floor para tingnan ito ito, nakita ko agad si Melissa the designer.
"Hi bebs maganda ba?" She asked and smiled.

"Of course this is so beautiful." I said.

"Syempre maganda ang designer e."

"Design lang ang maganda hindi ang designer." I said and chuckled.

She glared at me and rolled her eyes.

"Alam moba pag masama ang ugali mo hindi ka mag tatagal?" She said.

Buti nalang hindi nasisira ang mata ng isang ito dahil kanina pa paganyanganyan.

We talked when someone interrupted. "Hey there you are Luna." Scarlett said.

"Why?" Diretchong tanong ko.

"Akala ko kase hindi ka pumunta ngayon para tingnan ang design, do you think it's pretty? Kase parang
may kulang pa e." She said.
I heard Melissa gulped. "Yes it is pretty, magaling kase mag design itong Best friend ko e." I said
sarcastically.

How dare she? She insults my best friend's talent. e mas maganda pa nga itong design ni Melissa kesa sa
mukha nya.

"Oh is she your best friend?" She asked.

Tanga bato?

"Yes i am her best friend and why?" Melissa exclaimed.

"Ah wala, mukha nga." She said and smiled.

Wow, nakuha niya pang ngumiti ah? Behind those angel's smiles there is an evil spirit inside her soul.

She left us after that conversation, she said mag lilibot libot lang sya. I let her kahit mawala pa siya okay
lang.

"You know what? I hate that girl!" Melissa exclaimed.

"Me too." I said.

And we both laughed. After that we went home with kuya at si Kalix naman ay umuwi narin dahil mag
prepepare pa raw siya ng damit nasusuutin niya para buka. He's going to be my partner tomorrow and
kuya with ate selena, mom and dad.
Nang makarating kami sa bahay naabutan ko simama sa sala she's doing someone. I kissed her chicks
and kuya did the same.

"Where's dad?" I asked.

"Ah may pinuntahan lang." She said.

Tumango ako at nag paalam na pupunta sa taas para mag palit. When I'm done I go downstairs
afterwards because the dinner is ready. After we ate umakyat na agad ako para mag pahinga dahil
feeling ko pagod na pagod talaga ako this day kahit wala naman ako masyadong ginawa, , si Kalix ang
gumawa lahat ng dapat na ginawa ko kanina. I'm so blessed to have him.

Pumasok ako sa cr dahil naiihi ako. Pagkatapos ko nang hilamos ako tinitigan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin
at sa wig na suot ko ngayon.

I wonder kung ano ang itsura ko pag walang buhok, dahil hindi ko kailan man tiningnan sa salamin ang
itsura ko nang walang buhok.

Sinawalang bahala kona lang at bumalik na sa kama para matulog.

CHAPTER 4

Lunavierra POV

I woke up because the sun hit my skin. I grabbed my phone to see the time and it's already nine in the
morning, the launching will be eight at night. There is so much time to prepare, the event is fine naka
prepare na lahat kaya wala nang problema doon.

Pag katapos ko nang hilamos bumaba na kaagad ako para mag breakfast. Sinalubong agad ako ni
mommy.

"Good morning anak." She happily said.

"Morning ma." I greeted her back.

I went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast nakasunod parin si mama.

After that i went to my room para maligo at maihanda kona rin ang susuutin ko. Around two pm na nang
matapos ako, sakto naman na dumating na ang make up artist na kinuha ni mama. Masyado naman
itong maaga.

"Hi dear." He greeted.

I just smiled and went to the kitchen para uminom ng tubig. "Anak handa kana ba?" Mom asked.

"Ma, ang aga naman po mamayang eight pa ang party." I said.

"Kahit na! Saka dapat six palang ay andon na tayo anak." She said.

"Ma, kayo nalang po ang mauuna." I said. "Parang mas excited kapa kaysa sakin e." I added.

She laughed and went outside. Mom and the make up artist are talking about something that i didn't
know. I just let them, and went to my room. Nakatulog ako kaya hindi ko namalayan na it's already six in
the evening na pala. Nakarinig nalang ako ng katok sa pinto.

I opened it at bumungad saakin si Kalix na pormadong pormado. Ang gwapo naman ng isang to. Sa likod
naman niya ay si Kuya na kaparehas niya lang.

"Ano? Tutunganga kana lang sa kagwapuhan ko at hindi kana mag bibihis jan?" Kalix exclaimed.

"Gwapo mo mukha mo." I said and closed the door.

I immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower. At pagkatapos nun agad na bumungad saakin si
mama at ang make up artist sa loob ng kwarto ko.
"Halika kana para maayusan kana." Mom said.

Umupo ako sa harap ng salamin kung saan ako aayusan nito. Blinower niya muna ang buhok ko bago ako
make upan. Pagkatapos nun ay inayusan niya na ang buhok ko bago niya pinasuot saakin ang gown.
Lumabas muna sila para masuot ko ang gown ko.

I removed my bathtub and wore the gown, gosh it's so pretty i looked at the mirror and i saw myself in
there. Parang hindi ako ito, dahil sa make up kaya parang nag bago ang aking itsura.

Messybond ang ayos ng aking buhok at dark make up naman sa aking mukha para bagay sa gown ko. I
look stunning.

I grabbed my phone and my bag and went out. Pagkalabas ko nakaabang na agad saakin si Kalix sa pinto,
nakaawang ang kanyang bibig habang nakatingin saakin. Di naman halata na gandang ganda ito sakin.

"Sara mo yan, baka mapasukan ng langaw." I said and Chuckled.

"Shit! You're so beautiful as an angel." He whispered.

He offered his hand para maalalayan ako. At dahil gown ang suot ko kaya sinabi kona lang na gown ko
ang hawakan niya imbes na ang kamay ko. So ayun siya ang taga hawak ng buntot kong gown.

Bumaba kami at bumungad saamin si kuya at Ate Selena na naka porma rin. Ate Selena wore a white
sexy dress while kuya wore a white tuxedo.

"Gosh you look stunning." Ate Selena comment.

"Pangalawang beses." Ate said and laughed.

"Hoy hindi mo alam nung mga bata palang kami pinupuri ko yan." Kuya said.

"Puri o insulto? E walang araw na hindi moko tinawag na pandak at pangit." I said and rolled my eyes.

"Ano kaba kalimutan mona." He said we laughed after he said it.

Mag sasalita pa sana ako ng tumunong ang cellphone ko. I answered it when i saw mom calling.

"Anak asan na kayo? Andito na silang lahat kayo nalang hinihintay. Bilisan niyo okay?" She said.

"Yes mom." I answered and turned off the phone.

Agad kaming sumakay sa kotse ni kuya, nasa back seat kami ni Kalix habang si ate Selena ay nasa front
seat.

Hindi masyadong traffic kaya nakarating din kami kaagad. Nasa hall palang kami ay marami na agad
taong sumalubong saamin.

They greeted me and i just smiled and greeted them back. We went to the elevator para pumunta na sa

"Are you deaf? Should i repeat myself?" He said and without saying anything he grabbed me away from
them.

might think that she was nothing to me but she didn't know that I cared and loved her from the bottom
of my heart." He said and i heard some gossiping.

"That girl is Scarlett for sure."

"Scarlett is pretty."

" Are you okay?" Kalix asked.

Tumango ako. Bumaba si Adzriel at Scarlett at papunta sa gawi namin.

"Hey guys." Scarlett greeted us.

I just fake smiled while holding Kalix hands para kahit papaano ay mabalance ko ang sarili ko upang hindi
matumba dahil nawawalan ako ng lakas.

"Are you okay?" Scarlett asked.

"I-i am fine." I said.

"Anak lumaban ka, pakiusap." Mom said shaking.

Hindi kona kinaya kaya unti unti na akong nawawalan ng malay.

I went home at eight in the evening at hindi pa siya umuuwi. I asked manang kung umuwi ba si Luna o
hindi ang sabi niya ay hindi raw.

I just ignored it i thought na late lang siya pero malalim na ang gabi at hindi parin siya nakakauwi.

I'll just see her tomorrow at the office. I tried to sleep but i can't, i keep thinking of her. I was worried

Hanggang sa kinaumagahan ay hindi parin siya nakakauwi. I tried to call her but she didn't respond. Baka
nasa office nayun.

Pumunta ako sa office but she wasn't there. I waited a minute but she didn't come until i saw tita's
calling.

"Yes tita?" I answered.

"Hmm i forgot to say na mag babakasyon muna si Luna, siguro naman ay kaya mona jan? Ano, biglaan
lang kase ito e." She said.
I sighed. "Yes of course tita." I said and turned off the call.

Days passed and she came to the company again. I immediately ran to her office and we ended up
fighting. I don't know what she thinks that we had a relationship with Scarlett. And also that necklace
was given by Scarlett, it was her gift to my mom. And they are the same necklace.

noon, kung sana minahal kita noon hindi magiging ganito, sana okay tayo. Edi sana may anak na tayo." I

hands.

She was crying.

"Adzriel i wanted to say this to you for the last time."

"I love you so much, Please find your another star. It will be fine for me i wanted to make you happy if

I just kissed her forehead instead of answering her. She closed her eyes and smiled She kept on

Ilang minuto ko siyang yakap yakap sa bisig ko nang naramdaman kona lang ang kamay niyang malamig
na bumitaw sa pagkakayakap saakin.

I hugged her tight at umiyak ng umiyak habang nakatingin sa langit.

"Are you already there? Are you watching me now hugging your cold body?" I whispered.

Biglang imihip ang malakas na hangin. Animoy hiyayakap ako nito.

"Masakit, pero wala na akong magagawa. Sana maging masaya ka mahal ko. I love you now till the end."
