Documents needed for CAF

Copy of your ID card or Passport

Copy of your lease/housing contract
Copy of your student card
Copy of your French bank account information, R.I.B (Relevé d’Identité
Bancaire) provided by your bank. You can download one from your online
bank account
Copy of your birth certificate in FRENCH translated by an official
translator + a copy of the your original birth certificate Example of a RIB :
A copy of your « Attestation de loyer » signed by your landlord or the
manager of your residence.
For European Union citizens (and Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and
Switzerland ):
 Provide the above documents plus a copy of your European Health
Insurance Card
For non-EU citizens :
 Provide the above documents plus:
 Copy of your visa
 Copy of your OFII attestation
 Copy of the French Social Security certificate with social
security number (to be sent later when you apply for a Social
Security)
