Abstract
As environmental concerns continue to escalate, the need for sustainable solutions becomes
increasingly critical. Biotechnology, with its unique ability to harness living organisms and
biological systems, has emerged as a promising tool in addressing environmental challenges.
This review examines the role of biotechnology in environmental conservation, highlighting
its applications in areas such as waste management, pollution control, biodiversity
preservation, and sustainable agriculture. By leveraging the power of genetic engineering,
bioremediation, and biofuels, biotechnology offers innovative approaches to mitigate the
detrimental impact of human activities on the planet. Additionally, this review explores the
ethical considerations and potential risks associated with biotechnological interventions,
emphasizing the importance of responsible and regulated practices. Through a comprehensive
analysis of existing research and case studies, this review provides insights into the potential
of biotechnology as a sustainable solution for environmental conservation.
