EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As a part of the curriculum prescribed by Bangalore University, I have gone through the industrial training for 6 weeks. An organization study of Methods (India) Pvt Ltd along with a research titled A STUDY ON PERFORMANCE OF METHODS (India) Pvt Ltd AFTER IMPLEMENTING THE SAP SOFTWARE has been done. The project work was initiated by attempting to gather information about the Industry profile and the Company profile which would cover the entire gamut of the companys Mission, Vision, Services being offered, clients of the company, etc.

A detailed study of the Material Handling Industry has been done to understand the current scenario and trends in the industry. Methods core business is the production of Material handling equipment.

This internship project gave me a wonderful opportunity to understand the real time operations in the corporate. Initially an introduction to Methods (India) Pvt Ltd with the history, vision, business structure, and its associates and subsidiaries has been mentioned in this report. The business activities involved at Methods has been mentioned along with the different business units. A study on the entire unit with the organization structure, products and functional departments like Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Purchase & Quality and others have been done.

As a part of this Internship Project, a study on the change in performance of Methods (India) Pvt Ltd after implementing the SAP software. For this purpose I had to interact with the employees to know their opinion. For this purpose a Questionnaire was designed to collect the employees opinion, expectation and suggestions. All the data extracted from the questionnaire has been analyzed and suggestions have been considered to develop an effective method for the Training & Development process. Both primary & secondary data were used to form this project report. Primary data was collected through questionnaire and observations made. Main sources of secondary

data used were the Internet and Company website. The data collected i.e. primary and secondary, were processed and then subjected to analysis. In addition to the project undertaken I was also given a lot of opportunities to understand the activities and roles of various departments. The entire journey for 6 weeks was extremely beneficial to me in terms of learning and practical knowledge.
