It is to submit that at 220kV SS, Kadapa on 15.09.2023 at 04.36 Hrs 220kV Kadapa
Mydukur feeder tripped at Kadapa end only with the following indications.
At 220kV SS, Kadapa end:
Main-1 relay :

B-ph to Earth, Zone-1, Fault loc: 0.7Kms, Ir : 0.726 KA, Iy=1.19 KA, Ib=4.907 KA

Main-2 relay :
B-Ph to Earth, Zone-1, A.R. block, A.R. close, carrier
send.
A.R. operated and feeder tripped at Kadapa end
At
220kV SS,C K.Palli end:
Annunciation: Main -1 & Main-2 Distance protection operated, A.R.
operated.
Main -1 Relay (MiCom P444) :

B-Phase to Earth, Zone -1, A.R. operated, Fault Loc :

5.699Kms, Iy=1.158KA, Ib=9.259KA.
Main-2 Relay (REL 670) :

B-Phase to Earth, Zone-1, Iy= 1104.52A, Ib= 9410.85A,

A.R. operated and successful at C.K.Palli end.
On inspection of Kadapa SS Switch
yard, it is noticed that B-Phase line isolator jumper
towards CT was cut and hanging to
due damaging of isolator pad clamp.
The isolator damaged B-phase isolator
pad clamp was replaced and jumper between
line isolator andCT was connected.
Measured IR values of 220kV CT'S and
results are found
satisfactory. Now the 220kV Kadapa -C.K.
Palli feeder is fit for
charging.
Hence it is requested to arrange to
accord approval for charging 220kV
Palli feeder. of Kadapa-C.K.
