The Learner - Module 2

● 20th Century = Century of the Learner as lot of things were learned from them (nature,
devt, etc.)

Theory of Multiple Intelligence

● There are eight kinds of intelligences and possible ninth = existentialist

A. Visual-Spatial

● Recognize patterns and puzzles easily


● Read and write for enjoyment
● Loves and interprets pictures and graphs well
● Engineer, artist, architect

B. Linguistic-Verbal

● Loves debates, writing, and reading


● Remember written and spoken info
● Explains well
● Writer, lawyer

C. Logical-Mathematical
● Problem-solving skills
● Loves thinking of abstract ideas
● Can solve complex problems and conduct experiements
● Scientists, accountants, engineer

D. Bodily-Kinesthetic

● Skilled at dancing and sports


● Loves handcrafting
● Remembers by doing

E. Musical

● Enjoys singing
● Recognizes musical patterns
● Rich understanding about rhythm, notes

F. Interpersonal

● Good in verbal and non-verbal communication
