The Cagayan State University the graduates will be:

The Geodetic Engineering graduates will:
1. Effectively practice the field of surveying, digital mapping, remote sensing, spatial data handling and geographic information systems.

A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering (BSGE) program should be able to:
1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering sciences to the practice of geodetic engineering.
2. Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and verify assumptions, as well as to organize, analyze and interpret data, draw
valid conclusions, and help develop mathematical models for processes.
3. Design, improve, innovate, and to supervise systems or procedures to meet desired needs within realistic constraints, in accordance
with standards.
4. Work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams in diverse fields of practice.
5. Identify, formulate, and solve geodetic engineering problems.

Principles, basic laws, and theorems used in analyzing electrical circuits in both direct current and alternating current conditions. Analysis of DC and AC
Circuits; characteristics and methods of control; digital circuits and logic gates; Transducers and transducer circuits. Feedback control systems; introduction to
digital control; Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers; A/D-D/A Conversion; process control.

1. The student grades are based on the following weighting factors:


PRE-TEST = 5%
ASS/PROBLEM SETS = 15%
SW = 15%
QUIZZES = 25%
MAJOR EXAMINATIONS = 45%
Grading System Total 100%
2. The students must obtain an average of 50% or higher in order to pass the
subject.
3. Homework activities and other requirements shall be passed on the
specified date of submission. Late homework will merit a deduction of
20% from the total points.

Ladies: Unnecessary accessories are prohibited.

2. Attendance and Tardiness


Attendance is a must and will be checked every meeting. Students who arrived 15 minutes after the start of the class will be considered late. Three (3) late
occurrences are equivalent to one absence.

3. Academic Integrity
All forms of cheating and plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Anyone who violates will be dealt with disciplinary action.
Distribution of instructional material without author’s permission is prohibited.

4. Dropping
A student is considered officially dropped upon submission of the instructor’s copy of the duly accomplished dropping slip before the scheduled deadline of
the dropping.

5. Electronics Devices and Classroom Etiquette


Students are expected to actively participate in the discussion and learning activities. Disruptive noise, language and gestures are sternly forbidden during
class.

6. Make-up Exams
Make-up exams are allowed provided the reason for such absence is valid.
