Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai (Mingora, July 12, 1997)1 is a Pakistani activist who has lived in the
United Kingdom since the attack suffered on October 9, 2012 with 15 years.

She received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 at the age of becoming the youngest
person to access that award in any of the categories awarded .Malala wrote a blog
for the BBC under a pseudonym, detailing her life under Taliban occupation, The
following summer, New York Times journalist Adam B. Ellick made a documentary
about his life .

One day when she was on the bus an armed man entered and asked for her by
calling her name, and then pointed a pistol at her and shot her three times, In the
days following the attack, Malala remained unconscious and in critical condition. ,
but later her condition improved, In July of 2013, Malala addressed the plenary
session of the United Nations Assembly to call for access to education throughout
the world Yousafzai had been recognized with the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, sharing
this distinction along with Kailash Satyarthi, for their fight against the suppression
of children and youth andfor the right of all children to education

In 2020, she graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics
and Economics as a student at Lady Margaret Hall, a college of the university. In
2022, she was executive producer of the short documentary 'Stranger at the Gate ',
which is nominated for the Oscars 2023.
