In organizing a set of actions designed to raised awareness on issues and influenced
change, it is very useful to have a readily available document that explains your organization's purpose and aim. One format that work well to deliver this information is a brochure. A brochure is a concise, visually appealing document, and if well designed, can grab the attention of viewers. For almost any situation in which you need to introduce your advocacy to everyone, a brochure can be useful. Our group utilized this campaign material since it is a flexible medium for getting information about our advocacy out to the public or to our targeted groups. If you observe the layout, the page was divided into three portions. This will be folded in a Z-fold style in order for it to be space-friendly. The paper size that we utilized is 210×297 mm (8.27×11.69 inches). It is one of the most widely used, universally accepted standard brochure sizes for printing. We chose a paper size that offers a generous canvas for design in order to pack a lot of information into a single sheet of paper without taking up much room in the targeted audience's pocket or bag. Next is the color that our team chose. Since colors have the power to evoke particular emotions and have the capacity to generate particular moods, they play a significant role in the making of brochures. Our advocacy team decided on a blue color scheme since it is a symbol of health and healing. The color blue symbolizes our advocacy's objective, which is to encourage the production and consumption of healthy meals at Mindanao State University- General Santos. Health, a key symbol of the color blue, lies at the heart of our advocacy that’s why we chose this color. Going back to the brochure's primary objectives of dissemination of information and promotion, it is essential that the information should be concised and to the point. Too many words in your brochure will give your audience the impression that they should read it later because it will take up a lot of their time and most likely, they will forget about the existence of the brochure. Due to this, our team worked to ensure that the information in the brochure was both accurate and sufficient.
