IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE IN COMPANIES

Currently, companies are aware of the importance of implementing predictable maintenance projects to anticipate possible accidents or
active errors and improve production processes through various technologies. In the industry it is estimated that early identification
and solving problems before they occur can save up to 40% in maintenance costs. Predicting and preventing failures or stops in the
infrastructure, controlling assets or equipment early, not only ensures immediate intervention with the consequent reduction in costs,
but also generates greater efficiency in the companies' business. In this way, the productivity of the lines increases, optimizing stock,
reducing the opportunity cost due to non-production and reducing human error. It has been proven that efficient organizations have an
adequate maintenance system, which is why it is important to operate electrical systems that have a high degree of safety and
reliability. In general, industrial electrical installations have a high cost, their failures can generate very large losses in production, in
fact, it represents a great economic loss for the company in question. Therefore, it is important that they have maximum efficiency due
to the demanding competitive markets. The reconversion of the maintenance activity must be adapted to a system that meets the needs
of each company and particularly the characteristics and technical state of the equipment installed in them. It is essential to develop
techniques that allow evaluating the state of electromechanical systems and equipment to keep them in optimal operating conditions.
In addition to generating great benefits, among the most important:

- Prevent and avoid workplace accidents, thus increasing safety for the people involved in the production process.
- Reduce losses due to production stops.
- Prevents irreparable damage to industrial facilities.
- Aumenta la vida útil de los equipos.
- Improves the quality of industrial activity.
