REFLECTION ON; my experiences in our activities in

lesson planning, demo teaching, preparing IMs

Taking this subject really was a 50/50 experience because in the middle of the
semester a challenging event occurred where in we need a sudden change of a
teacher but amidst the chaos we persevered and now we finally have met the ending
of the semester, the ending of junior year rather.
There are a lot of hindrances that has served on the way; one of which is that the
lack of knowledge about lesson planning yes you read it right we took this subject
without the proper or even the basics of lesson planning. But with the help of our 2
teachers and im talking about maam wini and maam agno, they have served all the
things from basic to the most complex thing about lesson planning that we need to
know. They are the ones who turned a nightmare into a beautiful disaster that could
ever foster in our course.
Demo teaching was one of the exhausting things that we have done in this course
because there are a lot of procedures that needed to be done in order to proceed
with the teaching demo proper, imagine doing a DLP and get rejected for like a
multiple times yet you do not have a choice but to do it again and again even if it is
consuming all of your time. From preparing all the instructional materials and by
saying that I meant all the sleepless nights and the all the days you need to attend
classes with an empty stomach, lack of sleep and emotionally drained all of those
things are the biggest hinder you need to surpass if you want to deliver a perfect
demo teaching.
In overall reflection to this course is that it has been a roller coaster ride why?
Because we have been to a bumpy and a chaotic ride but just like a roller coaster it
brought fun and an unforgettable experience for me/us, generally this semester it
self was a big amusement park because you will never know what happens next until
it prick you with the feeling of emptiness.
