URS Infrastructure and utility NEW SC Line

I. Introduction

Syngenta is multi-national company that has business area in supporting agriculture business. One of
area business that is manufactured in Gunung Putri is crop protection, which is Pesticide production.
Syngenta Gunung Putri plan to have new Filling & Packing line for their product in next year. This
work is related to New EC Filling & Packing line Project that is planned to finish by next year. This
project will cover all infrastructure and utility which support Filling & Packing Machine run.

II. Scope of Work


1. 2 nos Unit Pumping Station (@ 250 L/min) consist of
 2 diaphragm pump PET MK 50 (2”) Joffee with flexible breaded hose
 Product piping (Pipe & valve, other fitting) SS 316 with manifold station for quick
changeover (Ref.pic below), area required is 3x 3 mtr
 High /low level pneumatic actuators 9 nos with signal exchange from filler tank
high /low level to stop product pump.
 Required signal exchanges & automation (to be detailed with Weight pack)

2. Electrical works
Electrical Connection scope of work including but not limited to:
1. New Electrical main panel as per IEC standards with main incoming feeder &
distribution feeders for individual equipment. Main panel drawing should be
validated by Sanjay Mulay.
2. Prepare schedule of cable sizing, ELCB, MCB ratings with calculations for fault
protection.
3. Upgrade earthing system
4. Provide ATEX additional overhead light fixtures
5. Provide single HVLS fan & remove existing fans

Power Consumption List: (to be received from weight pack)

3. Utility Piping (compressed air supply)


Below equipment's need compressed air supply (Get details from weight pack with
actual air consumption & pipe size)
Eestimate for pipe size: Main pipe size 3”. Branch pipe is 1”. Nozzle size connection
to machine will be confirmed during construction phase. For budgetary purpose
nozzle can same with pipe size.
 Tie in point, pipe length, will be confirmed by vendor when site visit.
 Material of pipe is Hot Dipped Galvanized Carbon. Valve material is carbon steel.
 Contractor shall verify the pipe size based on Compress air consumption. Above pipe
size is just owner estimate.

4. Upgradation of product transfer system from Formulation tanks to New EC line


Scope of works –

o Supply and Installation of Flow Panel


o Fabrication of Flow Panel.
o Swing Bend Panel + Fittings
o Panel Plate
o Spill Tray
o Butterfly Valve
o Material for contact product: Stainless Steel 316L
o Material for non-contact product: Stainless Steel 304
Site Works to tie-in and removal of existing transfer piping line.

o Removal of unused transfer line from Cymbush/Scoe 60kL/KZ014/Curacron and


Score to existing fillers 3x (MFA, MFB, S1000 lines)
o New piping route to Flow Panel
o Connecting spill tray to temporary container.
o Material for contact product: Stainless Steel 316L
o Material for non-contact product: Stainless Steel 304
o Hydro testing with water for leak test.
o Vendor to propose ideal location to position the flow plate.

5. Local Exhaust Ventilation- Will be in built in weight pack filler.


For product charging existing LEV to be used with extension of ducting.
Provide pre-fabricated Louvers on the wall
Shift exhaust fans on top
Additional Turbo air ventilators. No to be decided based on air changes & room volume
.
6. Lighting
 Luminous flux min 500 lux; LED new lights. Old CFL lights will be replaced.
 Cable and panel specification refer to electrical connection scope. Installation area is
shown in below picture (NEW EC Line).
 Contractor will design number of lamps and their position to achieve minimum flux
criteria.
7. Fan
Fan scope of work including but not limited to:
 Single HVLS fan
 Mounted ceiling
 Support for the fan

8. Floor Painting/Coating
Floor Painting/Coating scope of work including but not limited to:
 Area to be coated refer to below layout.
 Coating colour:
o Forklift Way: Red
o Production area: Existing grey.
 Floor levelling with screed, cracks, dents before coating.
 Coating thickness: 1000 Micron (3 layer)
 Painting of walls, existing structure

Civil works – Demolition of walls.


Existing walls demolition as shown in below layout
Demolition force concrete & structure steel column
Demolition mezzanine, force concrete & cladding wall for access machine
Demolition cladding wall & FAN existing for louver
Install Louver & new FAN including dedicated panel ATEX Zone 2
Install New Wall
Debris disposal as per site HSE protocol

Dismantling & Relocation works


Relocation-
1. 1.25L gram Oxone line to new proposed location
2. 2.Safety shower to new location (TBD)
3. 3.Panels mounted on walls to be demolished

Dismantling -
1. Old LEV ducts, supports
2. Old panels, DBs, cables &cable tray columns supports
3. Old S1000 & MFB full line
4. Product pipelines from tanks
5. Lights, FANS

9. Machine Unloading
Logistics plan with proper risk assessment to be done after design finalisation

10. Spare Part Rack


Refer to below picture of existing spare part rack (dolly jig)

11. Accessories
a. Cross Over Ladders
i. 2 pieces
ii. Material: Stainless steel
iii. With hand rail
b. Safety board & signages

12. Tools & Equipment

a. Machine cleaning tools during changeover & maintenance

b. Floor cleaning machine.

All works are accepted when all facility run well as per client specification and standards.

III. Project Duration – Construction - 2 months


IV. Testing & commissioning -1 month

Note -1. Plan 25 L SERAC LINE relocation during RAMADAN HOLIDAYS.


2.Plan safety shower relocation during RAMADAN HOLIDAYS
3.Plan wall demolition opposite pelletiser during Ramadan holidays
4. Since shutdown time is only 2 months we need to plan important high lead-time
activities of like demolition, relocation during planned holidays or no plan period.
