Answer ALL questions in the answer book 1. Visual art for young children refers to the creative expression and exploration of artistic concepts through various visual mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, and collage. Explain the following visual art stages and provide an example by drawing and coloring: a) _ shape stage. (5 Marks) b) pictorial stage. (6 marks) 2. Clay is a natural material composed of fine-grained minerals and soil particles. Itis soft, moldable, and pliable when moist, allowing it to be shaped and formed into various objects and sculptures. It has been used for centuries as a medium for artistic expression, pottery, and various crafts. In early childhood education, clay is often used as a hands-on art material to foster creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration in young children. ‘As an early childhood student, elaborate TWO (2) clay techniques that you can conduct with young children. Provide an example of clay activity for each answer. (10 Marks) 3. Wade has been assigned by the lecturer to lead a creative movement activity with preschoolers at Elemental Preschool. The task involves implementing both open-ended and teacher-guided approaches to creative movement. Discuss the differences between open-ended and teacher-guided in creative movement activities.
