“Navigating the New Normal: Assessing the Effect of COVID-19 on the Learning Experiences of
Medical Technology 1-A of SDCA”

The choice of this research is motivated by the need to understand the effects of the COVID-19
pandemic on medical technology education and the students pursuing this field. With the rapid
transition to remote and online learning, it is important to assess the impact of these changes on
students' learning experiences and outcomes to inform future policy and practice decisions in higher
education.

Data for this study will be collected through a combination of survey and semi-structured interviews. A
web-based survey will be used to gather quantitative data on students' experiences and perceptions of
the impact of COVID-19 on their learning. This will be complemented by in-depth semi-structured
interviews with a purposive sample of students to provide rich qualitative data on their experiences and
perceptions. The use of multiple data sources will provide a comprehensive and robust understanding of
the impact of the pandemic on Medical Technology students at St. Dominic College of Asia
