A. Mission and Vision Statement

1. Mission Statement

To serve delicious, sweet treats prepared fresh daily and to

ensure the costumer’s taste buds a sweet tooth satisfactory. Our

business will surely satisfy our customers by purchasing our

goods at an affordable price.

2. Vision Statement

To let our customers indulges their selves with our delectable

and sweet products, which satisfies their needs for sweet treats,

and can purchase our products at an affordable and reasonable

price.

B. Executive Summary

A “Graham Cracker” is a huge type of cracker confectionary,

usually sweetened honey and this is considered as digestive biscuit and

a healthy food.

We entrepreneurs of STEM 401 group 2 of STI Global City had

put our minds together to create a great product for our business, which

is graham balls. Grahams of the Galaxy is an innovated product made

by House of Treat and is run by the students of STEM401_batch 1,

group 2 from STI Global City.

These graham balls have distinct and unique flavor that represent

the celestial bodies of the galaxy. The name for our product is called

Grahams of the Galaxy. We are surely confident to provide the best and

natural products to our consumers.

Grahams of the Galaxy is a unique theme for our graham balls,

and it will surely amaze our customers, especially the children. The

majority of the people in the community crave for delicious and sweet

delicacies. The product consists of many flavors that will surely satisfy

our customers sweet needs.

The company offers galactic theme graham balls which the

flavors included in the products are: Fudge Milk, Strawberry, Crunchy

Ube, Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, and Rocky Road.

Which cost (Php 110.00) per small box which consist of 5 grahams balls

and (Php150) per box which consist of 7 flavors. Some flavors have

healthy flavors inside the graham balls, and some has a refreshing

flavor. We will provide the best and natural products to our customers.

Also, provide the high- quality standard and best taste for our

customers. It is prepared easy but are rich in flavor. The product offers

a sweet and melt- in-your-mouth snack in a reasonable price. These

treats are not just popular during the holidays but all year round loved

by young and old alike. 3

The enterprise implements Democratic Leadership and

Functional Organizational Structure to maintain order and organization

in the company. The organization is divided into three (3) departments

based on their function and each is headed by a functional manager

and employees are grouped as per their role.

The management and production of the product starts through

estimation of initial capital, location, and its target consumers. Second

is then purchasing of ingredients and raw materials that will be use by

the business. The physical store address is NC Bakeshop, Phase 2,

Sapang Viejo UCV, Ligid-Tipas, Taguig City.

Graham ball is a feasible and achievable product that a simple

student can do. Also, this product can improve the production and

innovating skills of every student.

C. Company Profile

House of Treat is a manufacturing company that is established on

March, 2021 and owned by students from STI College Global City,

STEM401 - Group2. The company name derived from the word “house”

and “treat,” which reflects its main goal, “to serve customers with high

quality but budget friendly galactic themed graham balls”. The

company’s tagline is, “save the galaxy,” A simple, short, and catchy

phrase that reflects the company’s purpose.

Figure 1 shows the business logo with the name of the business

“House of Treats” which is ensembled in LIGHT pinkish red and brown

color.

The story of the company name came to light when one of our

team members was eating tasty treats at their home. The home is the

safest place we know for us to eat out delicious treats. This where we

get to be the most comfortable and safe. We have chosen the name

“House of Treats” to remind our consumers to come home and eat their

treats and indulge peacefully, the sweet and special treats are waiting

for them. The logo was made as an image of a home and a ‘treat’ word

to have a minimal design. It will also serve as a reminder for our

consumers to come home, eat treats, and share their sweets to their

family.

D. Objective

Our objective is to serve customers with high quality but budget

friendly galactic themed graham balls. Each graham ball has its own

flavor and design that is based on distinct celestial bodies, and this not

only provides authenticity but also guaranteed to be pleasing to the

eyes. Our product can be set aside from the common made graham

balls sold by rival companies due to the fact that each graham ball has

its own flavor that provides different sensations as you indulge. Our aim

is to sell as many bundles as possible to be able to raise funds that can

be used to further improve our small business, with this business we

want to showcase the mind of us STIer’s and portray that we are

capable of becoming entrepreneurs.

E. Management Team

The Production Department of the company includes all activities

that involves the processing of the merchandise. The key focus of the

organization’s production department is efficiency and effectiveness. To

produce high quality output using the least amount of input, whilst

maximizing productivity and maintaining good quality.

II. The Industry and the Products Offered

A. Industry Overview

Graham is a homemade product that can be sold at the market.

Graham balls are a sweet snack that you could munch on while

attending your online class, or while doing your school works.

Especially now, that we are more focus on our computer or other

gadgets and because of online class we tend to forget to eat, so that is

where our product will enter the picture. The graham balls that we are

selling have 7 kinds of flavor that the customer could pick. Our product

also has fun facts in the packaging that our customer will find

interesting.

House of Treat make grahams balls unique and fun in way that

people specially those teenagers and kids who love to eat sweets will

love graham balls.

B. Products Offered

Our product name is inspired from a marvel movie which is

Guardians of the Galaxy. And our motto is “save the galaxy, eat the

rest”. Which means the galaxy is your family, save your time and come

together at home to eat our graham balls.

Figure 3 shows the layout of our packaging which is 48cm by

27cm. The material that we will be use in our packaging is glossy

cardboard paper. We choose this type of paper because the product is

consisted of chocolate and jams that can be sticky once we use a non-

glossy paper.

The business will use a clamshell 15cm by 15cm plastic container as an

alternative packaging if glossy cardboard paper will be lack in the market.

2. The Product

Our product is graham balls which consist of many flavors. The

flavors for our graham balls are Fudge Milk, Strawberry, Ube, Dark

Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, Rocky Road.

Figure 6 shows the finished product inside the packaging

House of Treats provides sweet treats to people craving for sweets,

especially children to satisfy and give pleasure to their sweet tooths. Our

product will surely satisfy our consumer’s sweet cravings with these different

varieties of flavors:

C. Competitive Analysis

1. S.W.O.T ANALYSIS

❖ Strengths

• The price is affordable and can afford all future customers.

• The concept of our product is an eye pleasing to people that’s

into the galaxy.

• The quality of the product can satisfy all consumer with the exact

sweetness that they been looking for.

❖ Weakness

• Lack of capital and funds for producing more products.

• A lot of strong existing competitors with a same product but

different idea.

• Limited key access in selling to outdoor locations

❖ Opportunities

• Many Adults, Teenager, and specially children would like to try

our product as they always crave for sweets and something new.

• As this is something new and innovative, we will have a few

competitors.

• We will use our Social Media Applications to reach more people

and use it to make our business idea bloom and grow.

III. The Business Strategies

A. Target Customers

The target customers of our business, House of Treats, are the

people in Taguig city. Our business is also located in that area so we

can only provide our products locally. We also do deliveries but limited

to the closest our area.

The production of our product goes as follows. Our business will create

graham balls with a theme “Grahams of the Galaxy” and modeled after the

celestial bodies in our galaxy. Each graham balls will have a different flavor

that is unique to a specific celestial body. The production of the graham balls

will be at NC Bakeshop’s facilities, where the equipment is sanitized for safe

use. The ingredients will be fresh, clean, and stored safely for the welfare of

our customers. The packaging of the product will be a small box that can hold

9 pieces of graham balls. The design of the packaging will be appropriate to

the theme, and there will be fun facts that can be seen on the sides of the

packaging.

1. Ingredients

The ingredients needed to make the Graham Balls with

different flavors are:

➢ Graham cracker

➢ Condensed milk

➢ Flavorings (Milk Fudge, Strawberry, Ube, Peanut Butter,

Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, Rocky Road)

➢ Milk Powder

➢ Nestle’s all-purpose cream

➢ Sprinkles

2. Procedures in making graham balls

✓ Step 1, Crush the graham crackers in a ziplock with a hard object

(rolling pin or bottle), or crush using hands.

✓ Step 2, Combine the crushed graham crackers with condensed

milk in a bowl, then stir until the ingredients are well incorporated.

✓ Step 3, After mixing the graham mixture, mold the graham

mixture into a sphere in 1.5 inches diameter.

✓ Step 4, Then, make a small hole by pressing the graham ball

lightly and put a flavor inside.

✓ Step 5, Design the graham according to its flavor representing a

celestial body of the galaxy.

✓ Step 6, After making the graham balls, put the product inside the

packaging and seal it tightly.

C. Operational Plan

The operation and management plan describes how the organization

operates on a daily basis. It is critical for reducing turnover and maintaining

quality for the productivity of its team, customers, and employees. It also

highlights the implementation of the objectives, tactics, resource allocation,

technological advantage, location and facility, inventory, and management

team and employee.

House of Treats is a starting food manufacturing business.

Below is the detailed capital requirement for the establishment of the

business and 3 months successful year of operation.

For three months of operation, the company produce a total to 35

pieces of Grahams of the Galaxy box with 7 . The company issues ₱2885.00

of its capital for the production of grahams. Graham balls with each box. House

of Treats is a food manufacturing company, the organization assigns ₱200.00

under facilities, for 5 manufacturing days in a bakery. In addition, ₱525.00 is

allotted for other expenses including packaging and transportation expense.

All in all, the required capital for the establishment of the company

together with the first launch is ₱3,510.00.
