SUMMARY
I’m having more than 25 years of experiences in Architectural design, Urban Planning,
Landscape Planning, Compilation of Comprehensive Development Plans (CDP), and Survey
Conduction, including 25 years of Research and teaching experience (from teaching assistant
to associate professor) in Al-Azhar University and many private architecture schools in
Egypt ,now I’m in teaching mission in Saudi Arabia , I pursued PhD in Egypt in 2013.
Currently I’m working as an Associated Professor at Al-Azhar, I have a proven and solid track
record in the field of architecture and design who applied effective methods of teaching;
effectively communicated the value of architectural design in the mental, emotional and social
well-being of a person; stressed the importance of an environment which invites peace,
calmness and relaxation which can be achieved by putting together different elements and
practices in design, lighting and structure.
In parallel with my academic career, I am non-traditional senior architect (consultant) About
twenty-five years of experience in designing, reviewing and following up on a variety of major
architectural projects, mentor other Architects, interpret client briefs, and review contracts and
designs. Have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of CAD software, and ability to
handle negative feedback, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outstanding
design skills, and solid leadership capabilities.
Academic History
I have academic record and working as Assistant professor of architecture, from Jun 1997 –
Present Al- Azhar University – Egypt and many private universities such as the Future And
M.S.A , I have research interests and experience cross the boundaries of disciplines and involve
theories and methodologies of design studio teaching in architecture and urban design;
typological transformations in traditional architecture/urban spaces; sustainable design
processes; environmentally sustainable development; sustainable schools; workplace
environmental quality; assessing designed environments from socio-cultural and users'
perspectives; adaptive urbanism and the spatial practice of cultural groups within cities;
livability and diversity in urban environments; and investigating architecture and urbanism in
emerging cities in the global south.
My work and research have been focusing on curriculum development and design studio
teaching practices, transformative and critical pedagogy, and sustainable architectural and
urban design, with a strong emphasis on the impact of socio-cultural factors in shaping the built
environment.

by the professional community in Cairo. Methodologically, this is based on adopting two
approaches. The first is an attitude survey that captures views on globalization as conception, its
tools, and the understanding of cultural change. The second is a case study that critically
analyzes the impacts of globalization in relation to three projects located in Cairo on the basis of
a number of factors: technological, morphological, cultural, and environmental.

understanding how housing evolved throughout history in Egypt

Since 1999 until now, I have been teaching in the Department of Architecture, Al-Azhar

(Currently on a teaching mission to Saudi Arabia)

all developments based on many regional and international schools of

Books
In addition to the prevoiues rechearshes i had published tow books the first one title was(the
third way in architecture) this book Discusses the compatibility between heritage and modern
technology in dealing with historical urban environments also this book evaluated the impact
of global forces on architecture has been discussed thoroughly in the literature. Key issues
relevant to cultural, economic, environmental, as well as morphological factors have always
been drivers of the discourse. However, the interaction between them has been seen
intellectually as an imperative that should govern reactions to globalization. In light of the key
points raised in the literature, this paper traces key reactions to architectural globalization by
the professional community in Cairo. Methodologically, this is based on adopting two
approaches. The first is an attitude survey that captures views on globalization as conception, its
tools, and the understanding of cultural change. The second is a case study that critically
analyzes the impacts of globalization in relation to three projects located in Cairo on the basis of

  Theories of Inquiry in Architectural Research (Seminar) This seminar introduces students
to historical and theoretical foundations of architectural inquiry. Architectural inquiry is
defined from diverse and distinct perspectives, and it will be assumed that buildings
should be viewed as physical and cultural artifacts, and as elements within larger social,
urban and natural contexts.
 Theory & Context of Architecture (Lecture)
An examination of architectural theories that understand the designed environment as a
cultural medium and a product of sociocultural process expressing values and ideas.
Understanding of these theories enhanced through the analysis of paradigmatic buildings,
urban form and ideologies that have influenced architectural culture.
Professional Practice Positions
During my professional experiment, I was Innovative in leading and directing wide
range of mega projects from inception to launch. Possessing vast experience of
coordinating and managing all projects activity, providing clear guidance and
leadership to a team and ensuring that all contract requirements are fully met.
My responsibilities developed as next:

documents, prepare all services provider short list, RFQ from all suppliers, RFI, proposed time
schedule and cash flow, managing required HR and other resources, preparing technical and
financial proposals till bid delivery.
11. Contracts administration including technical and contractual review, monitoring and
control of scope, time, process and documents quality, shop drawings deliverables inspection
and acceptance, cost, variation, claims, establish and maintain contract records and ensure
compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
12. Review and maintain sub-contractors’ time schedule, project cash flow, payment plan,
monthly payment considering projects actual vs. Planning status and site conditions.
13. Close coordination with site manager and engineers to help resolve technical questions/
issues and taking corrective actions if needed.
14. Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training,
assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

In 2018 I founded architectural company DESIGN MARK to provide comprehensive design
services in-house, including Architecture, Civil Engineering, Surveying, and Interior Design allows
the firm to effectively manage quality control from start to finish. In order to further enhance
customer service, the firm’s staff is organized into specialized market sector studios. This
diversity of experience allows DESIGN MARK Group to address a variety of needs, while
providing the specialized experience to help address the unique needs of each client. And finally
its suspended because of Covid 19 crisis
October, 2010 – March 2017 Board Member (Head of Engineering Department) at Arkan

In 2010, I joined Arkan Real Estate Group as a board member and Head of Engineering
Department, evaluating the design of projects, developing projects and my responsibilities was:
 Participating in preparation of feasibility studies for proper land lots property profitable

the level of quality in particular In the field of detail, I was responsible for reviewing a
number of large-scale projects in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia.my responsibilities was:

After my graduation, I worked for 10 years with Dr. Saleh Zaki the founder of united
consultants office stating from joiner architect to seniority level and I had participated
in more than 26 mega project as a technical coordination leader.
