Warranty : The standard warrenty for calibration is 10days.
Repair : Parts and Repair if required, will be quoted separately.
Delivery : Delivery time fluctuates depending on workload. However 2-3 working days after receipt of PO.

 General Terms & Conditions
1) Calibration turnaround time is maximum 1-2 working days after confirmation, if any deviation in requirement is required,
kindly mention in the purchase order or email us at sales@alhuwais.com . For onsite calibration, the schedule is to be
mutually agreed.
2) All instruments are to be made available on the same day for calibration. If the instruments are located in multiple
locations, customer has to inform in advance.
3) The above charges are for Calibration and Certification only; any servicing or supply of spares will be quoted extra.
4) A formal purchase order/written confirmation required as a confirmation before commencement of jobs.
5) The due date mentioned in the calibration certificate will be as per calibration frequency. In case of any deviations, kindly
mentioned in the purchase order or email us at sales@alhuwais.com .
6) Price quoted, are based on the quantities shown above being ordered/delivered/invoiced in a single lot. Partial orders or
specification changes will result in the revision of the above quote.
7) Al Huwais may sub-contract a confirmed order to approved subcontractors (accredited or authorized) in case of
unavailability of master or reference equipment or limitation of the facility or as per the request from the customer.
8) Al Huwais is not liable for any damage caused by or resulting from improper or negligent use after calibration.
9) If the customer is having any specific requirements like calibration points, specific certificate formats, or any accredited
certificate requirements other than Al Huwais 17025 scope, shall be informed or provided along with the confirmation (PO). Al
Huwais will not be liable of any inconvenience or disputes arising due to the same.
10) The result of calibration refers only to the particular items submitted for calibration.
11) The results reported in this certificate are valid at the time & under the stated conditions of measurement for the
particular items & ranges identified above.
12) The certificate provided may not be reproduced other than in full, except with the prior written permission of Al Huwais
Maintenance & Operations Est.
13) Once the equipment is returned after calibration, the customer needs to report any issues within 1 or 2 days.
14) All the information regarding the instrument and its metadata that needs to be printed on the calibration certificate should
be provided, prior to the calibration.
15) If any changes are to be made in the calibration certificate that may arise due to the negligence of the customer,
additional charges will be applicable and a quote will be send for approval.
16) Transport handling conditions for the devices as follows:
i) Establishments shall ensure that the vehicle used to transport devices are properly designed and equipped to ensure
protection from different environmental and whether conditions in which it operates. Uncovered vehicle shall not use at all for
critical & delicate devices.
ii) Establishments transport their devices under conditions specified by the manufacturer’s instructions to prevent
deterioration. These conditions might be related to one or more of the following:
a) Temperature (all the devices shall be kept during storage and/or transportation at temperature ranges specified by the
manufacturer).
b) Moisture & humidity.
c) Exposure to light.
d) The direction the package should face.
e) The maximum number of the packages stacked above each other.
iii) Staff involved in the storage, handling and transport of devices shall:- have appropriate knowledge about these activities.
– be able to deal with devices that have different storage and transportation requirements, if applicable.
17) After the calibration Al Huwais will ship back the instruments to the customer in tha same packing materials.
