Long-term changes in temperature and weather patterns are primarily caused by human

activity, particularly the burning of fossil fuels, which contribute to climate change. A shift in the
change in temperature is actually occurring naturally because of the variation of the solar cycle.
However, due to too much human activity, the change in temperature worsens over time.
The global climate change has been physically observed in our environment, and most
of them have a long-term effect on our planet. The melting of icebergs and polar ice caps is
clearly observed as it will result in an increase in the ocean's sea level. In addition, due to a
rapid change in temperature, the extinction of various species, heatwaves, the spread of
different kinds of diseases, the El nino phenomenon, and threats to agriculture productivity and
food security here in the Philippines were declared by the experts. On the other hand, the
essence of naturally occurring climate change stabilizes the gas concentration in the earth’s
atmosphere such that it protects the planet from being too cold, which comes from the universe
and makes the planet habitable and safe to humans.
Everyone knew how to cure our planet. However, it is very hard to attain a normal and
safe environment due to uncontrollable human activities. To prevent the worst from happening,
everyone should and can participate in tree-planting programs and recycle everything possible.
Self-sacrifice would be needed to achieve such a goal; it is not too late to protect and heal our
planet. Cooperation and genuine love for nature are what every person should possess. When
we were born, the Earth provided us with life. So, in return, let’s give back to the planet by
reviving and healing it.
