Applications are invited online only by One Time Registration exclusively from
qualified candidates for selection to the undermentioned post (By transfer recruitment).

Note: (i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall
apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in.
(ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer
recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the Ranked List prepared
for Direct recruitment.
(iii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala
General Education subordinate service as on the date of application.
(iv) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this
notification. The Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission,
shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition
that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list
after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three
years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against
the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the lists. In case no
candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three
years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of
one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is
earlier.
(v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district
basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms)No.154/71/PD
dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district
from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district
unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of
commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed
after five years, it will be subject to the
rules in G.O(MS)No.4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. Candidates already in
Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited
from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when
notified.
(vi) Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response
to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above
direction, and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the
Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates
should note the name of the concerned district against the relevant column of
the application.
(vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Article 14
to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.

5.Method of appointment : Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who


have completed the prescribed service and who are working
as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General
Education Department.
6. Age Limit : Not applicable.

7. Qualifications:-

1) A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject


conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (Degree in Concerned
subjects are specified in Note (iii) below.)
2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post
conducted by the Government of Kerala
Exemption: Candidates who have qualified
CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted
from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P)
No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).
Note:- (i) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the
Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the
Universities in Kerala.
(ii) The Employees of the General Education Department who entered service
before 31.03.2012 and have completed the prescribed period of service as
Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant are exempted from acquiring K-
TET qualification .
(iii) The applicant should have taken Botany or Zoology or Home Science or
Micro Biology as main subject for Graduation/Post graduation.
(iv) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural
Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above
purpose.
(v) The candidates who have acquired B.Sc Ed in Chemistry – Botany –
Zoology stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education Mysore
of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post (GO (P) No 117/13/G Edn
dtd 30/3/13).
(vi) B.Ed in Life Science awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala through
a regular course of study or B.Ed in Life Science awarded by Universities
outside Kerala through a regular course of study which is recognised as
equivalent to B.Ed in Natural Science by any of the Universities in Kerala
will also be accepted as sufficient training qualification for the post. ( GO

dtd 09/05/2012)

B.Sc Biotechnology along with B.Ed-Natural Science will be considered as


(vii) one of the qualifications for the post.(GO(Ms) No:113/14/GEdn dtd
19/6/2014).
B.Sc Family and Community Science degree of MG University will be
(viii considered for the post.(GO Rt No: 4015/2018/GEdn dtd 5.10. 2018).
B.Sc Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology Of Bharathiyar University
(ix) will be considered for the post.(GO (MS )No: 41/2018/GEdn dtd 13.04.
2018).
(x) The disciplines in which B.Sc/M.Sc and B.Ed Degree were obtained should
be mentioned in the application.
(xi) If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test the Question paper for the
written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the
questions in Malayalam. In the case of OMR Answer Script, answers are
to be marked as instructed.
Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant
Government Orders during verification to prove that the qualification
claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.
NB: Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post.
3) Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as
Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on
the date of application.
Documents to prove qualification ,date of birth and service have to be produced
as and when called for . Candidates should obtain and keep a Service Certificate
(in original) in the form prescribed below from the Head of Office/Department
and produce as and when called for.

9 Mode of Sending applications :-
Candidates must register as per “ ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the
Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in'
before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by
logging in to their profile using their user ID and password. Candidates must
click on the `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to
apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2010.
Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the
bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be
valid for 10 years from the date of taking the photograph. There is no change in
other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is
required. Candidates can view details in their profile by clicking the link
'Registration Card' in their profile and a printout can be taken if needed.
Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and
secrecy of password. Before final submission of the application on the profile,
candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must
quote the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Application
once submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
Application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is
found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience,
community, Age, etc., have to be produced as and when called for. “Candidates
who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their
profile”.

11 If written /OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates
. shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through the One Time
Registration profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the
Admission Tickets in the last 15 days till the date of Test. The applications of
candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period, will be
rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the
availability of Admission Tickets will be published in the Examination Calender
itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective
profiles and in the mobile phone number registered in it. Appropriate displinary
action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22 shall be initiated against those
candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding
education ,experience etc and submit confirmation for writing the examination
,irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination.
