Fresh water has always been a limited resource in some parts of the world.
What are the causes of fresh water and what measures could be taken to respond to this
problem?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge

1. Introduction: It is evident that that water scarcity is becoming a global issue in many
different parts of the world. This essay will shed some light on causes and will also
suggest some solutions to this issue.
2. Body:
*BODY 1
- Firstly, the demand for water resources from a population growth could result in a
shortage of water resources
+ Due to population explosion, a growing number of families, industrial parks,
factories sharply increase
+ Therefore, a lack of water contributing to a freshwater crisis threaten the sources
upon which we rely
- Secondly, the manufacturing industries are directly discharging untreated hazardous
waste into the rivers, lakes, or reservoirs
+ As a consequence, high levels of nitrates in water can lead to various water-borne
diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, and polio.
* BODY 2:
- Firstly, governments should enact laws on family planning and population control
methods
+ The educational system must carry out lectures on sex education to raise awareness
of children
- Secondly, local authorities should install proper waste treatment management to
reduce unwanted sewage.
+ Mass media should be seen to educate citizens about the importance of water to our
culture
