OUR ROOTS

Our roots are the No other living things,


same, Could ever have,
We are, all born Our roots remain
human, common.
With red blood in our
veins,
Melanin in every skin,
All evolved from apes.

Some however
meander, In the
vast earth,
To earn a living,
To get a better life,
And others working for
a status.

Whether we succeed
or fail, Depends on a
multitude, Of
factors both internal &
external,
Perception, effort,
belief and,
To some extent fate,
Though time destroys
everything.

When we come to
gather, Some
with lamentations of,
What life has exposed
them to,
Hurdles, hustles and
obstacles,
That brought their
failure, Others with
testimonies of , The
good that they have
tasted,
How they have
climaxed.

could be,
We share things that,
