The
foreshadowing started when people gather stones and stated that Martin has his pocket full of

3) Because of their action. Because that’s what she showed to the crowd, people can tell things

4) The title itself and the winner of the lottery. It became Ironic because winning the lottery can be

as “battered” because it also symbolizes the winner that is being battered with the use of
stones.
8) She told us that tradition is tradition and needs to be followed even though it can be harmful for
everyone.
9) The laws of North Korea, not just you will be punished if you disobeyed the law but also your
family.
10) Maybe the war itself, it’s easy to kill/hurt somebody than stopping the war.
