Dear Alumnus,

To ensure a smooth and memorable experience for everyone, please take note of the
instructions to be followed for the convocation ceremony to be held on 21st August 2023
(Monday):-

1. Arrival:

The reporting time for the convocation is 8:30 a.m. You are required to reach the convocation
venue well in advance.

2. Registration:

Prior to the convocation, you will need to register at the designated registration desk at
Academic Block D-3. The registration process will start at 08.30 a.m. sharp. Please ensure that
you arrive at the venue in time to complete the registration process and receive your academic
regalia for the event.

3. Session:

Convocation will be done in two sessions i.e. Batch-1 & Batch-2. Depending upon the seating
capacity, students will be allowed to enter in the Auditorium on “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE”
basis. Latecomers will have to attend the convocation in the second batch.

4. Clearance of Accounts:

You are required to clear all pending dues (if any) before joining the convocation.

5. Dress Code:

This includes wearing a graduation gown and cap along with formals. The students are required
to wear the same throughout the event.

6. Photography:

Professional photographers will be present at the convocation to capture your precious


moments. Personal photography or videography during the ceremony is strictly prohibited.
The captures can be taken from the media team after the event.
7.Etiquette:

Convocation Ceremony requires complete decorum. No cross talks, movements, loitering inside
the convocation hall are allowed during the ceremony. You are requested to show respect and
consideration to your fellow graduates, faculty, and guests. Any electronic devices such as
mobile, camera, laptop etc. is not allowed in the Auditorium.

8. Academic Regalia Return:

After the ceremony, you will need to return your academic regalia at Academic Block D-
3(Registration Area) to the designated team. Take care of your graduation gown and cap, as
any damages may result in additional charges.

9. Celebrations:

Following the formal convocation, you will have the opportunity to celebrate with your family,
friends, and faculty members. You can enjoy refreshments at Academic Block D-3 (Registration
Area).

10. Parking facilities:

Entry for convocation site i.e., Academic Block-D1 will be from University Gate No. 3. Parking
will be at Block B-5 (Students Parking Area) and backside of Shivalik Hostel.
