3 River Model A Newsletter August 2023 Rev0 2
I want to thank everyone who showed up for out Tune Up on June 17th. We had over 30 plus
and three new members which will be introduced at our annual picnic on August 20th. So far
this year our club has responded very well to all of our events. Let’s keep it going!
A reminder, Keith Waltower is taking orders for quilted lined jackets with our logo and your
name. Any size $63.00. Please contact Keith at 412-513-6559
(He will be ordering the jackets right after the picnic at the end of August)
Our annual club picnic will be as usual, which is that the club provides the
main meats (hamburgers, hotdogs, buns) and the corn, while we
encourage members to bring a covered dish. If your last name begins with
A-L bring a desert, M-Z bring a salad or side dish. You do not have to bring
a huge amount, as there is always plenty of food. Members, spouses, and
family are free, adult guests pay $3.00. Arrival time is 12 noon will start
serving at 12:30.
New this year we have added another car game, the Pinewood Derby. You
can go on Amazon.com or if you were a Boy Scout and still have it, bring
it. Anything goes!
The officers arrive early to set up, husk corn, start the grill, get corn pot
on, but any extra help is welcome (10 am) For new folks, PLEASE COME. If
you have any questions at all, please call Frank or Bobbi, 412-787-5076 or
